Twilight the Reckoning III: The Revenge

The shadowy figure watches the marble fly, quickly pulling away from Cullen, having an idea that it doesn't want to deal with such creatures right now, "You will explain, Cullen." As it says these words, chains fly out of the walls, holding Carlisle up in the air by his arms, "Or I will take away your petty immortality and show you the real thing."

[Cracklord]

((It doesn't eat clothing, or things on the living's immediate person.)

T-800
"You could say that." It replies automatically, then walks on. It is not programmed for conversation.

Wang
Wang sighs. He is sore, tired, and doesn't want to fight. "What do you want?" He asks plainly. His mind and his spirit are going north and south, he doesn't need this.

Deadpool

"No! Not Bea Arthur!"

Deadpool discarding his belt packed with a seemingly impossible amount of weapons lunges into the foray with the man in black, the hungry demon and Carlise Cullen. Making no move to defend his costume he tries to snatch the mask and get back out of range of the demon before being reduced to undergarments.

"Wait a second."

((It doesn't eat clothing, or things on the living's immediate person.)

"Damnit. Wasted a perfectly good joke on nothing."

[industrious]

T-800

"Then the fact that I know where the Cullens are doesn't matter to you then? Very well, I'll be off." The man starts to walk away, knowing that the machine will definitely respond.

[Cracklord]

T-800
The machine turns. "What do you want?" It asks, trying to extract the information as quickly as possible.

[industrious]

T-800

The man smirks. "Thought you might be interested. I represent a group of people who would like to see the Cullen clan considerably thinned. I know where they are, but I can't get to them." Tugging loose the done-up collar of his shirt, and absently scratching at a silver-colored torc, he continues. "There are two more of the family here, but they are being taken care of as we speak. The others have fled, heading East. They're in a black Volvo, right now, heading for the Boise airport."

(Sorry. I had a ton of classes today.)

Broken Sword

He whirls around, sword at the ready, to look at the visitor.

At the Nightclub

Broken Sword doesn't actually see anything, but his instincts tell him that there is definitely something behind him.

Walker, on the other hand, doesn't see anybody looking particularly vampiresque. Looking around, he is surprised to find a drink pressed into his hand. "The lady upstairs's compliments, sir." It's one of those hideous new "blended drinks" that appears to be popular these days. More important, though, is the napkin that it comes with.

Hello Walker, it reads. Upstairs, past the employees only door, third door on the left.

[Cracklord]

The machine walks on, calculating the veracity of the statement. At last, seemingly satisfied, it heads to a sports good shop. This place is a haven for hunters. So their will logically be a place to buy weapons.

Broken Sword

The swordsman turns to Walker. "Whomever it is, I cannot see him. I think we may have to prepare for another fight."

Walker
Walker stares down at the message; someone's apparently a James Bond fan. He turns back to Broken Sword, "Do you think you can find them? Someone wants to meet with me; you find the person after us and take that sword to his head, I'll meet our new friend."

Preadator

The hunter reconizes that those men can sense him. Deciding to ignore them for the time being it scans the crowd hunting for vampires.

((Can we get some movement at the Cullen house?))

Broken Sword

Broken Sword nods. "Very well." He stands up and disappears into the large crowd. The person following them would at least be slowed down by the many people. He ignores the blaring music and concentrates on his surroundings, trying to sense someone who stands out from the drunk and celebrating.

Walker
"Good." Walker goes up the stairs. He moves to the room mentioned in the note, and opens the door calmly, his hand clenched on his umbrella.

[industrious]

((waiting for the Captain(doliest's character) to react to Deadpool's charge))

Walker

The Voice of the Authorities is greeted by a knife to the throat, and a smooth voice chuckling. "Thank you very much, Walker, for coming to us. We were afraid that we'd have to come to the Nightside ourselves. But no matter." The other hand is groping around Walker's vest pocket, searching for the man's pocket watch.

In the Club

Broken Sword doesn't see anything...until a drunken man spills his drink, and suddenly, a suddenly, there is a man in a black cloak where there was empty space before.

T-800

The sporting goods store contains a far richer bounty than the range. The hunting rifles are better kept, there is more ammunition (as well as several compound bows and arrows-but who would want to use those?), and several pump action shotguns.

Broken Sword

Faster than most eyes can tell, Broken Sword dashes to the man's side and holds his sword to the back of his head.

"Who are you?"

((I didn't think a reaction was necessary; ???? had done all he intended to do, and was going to let the other's work out their frustration.))

The figure watches impassively, between the demon and The Merc, it wasn't sure there would be enough for it to raise effectively. Infact, it had never tried raising a vampire as one of it's clan. Should prove to be enlightening. .
Walker
"I have a man in the bar below us." Walker says, as if a knife to the neck was an everyday occurrence, "So why don't you just stay out of my pockets?" Walker let's his eyes adjust, forming an educated hypothesis that he's standing before the Volituri's hired help.

[Cracklord]

The T-800 takes as many as it can carry, then breaks into the fastest car he can see and begins driving East, burning rubber, his foot as far down the accelerator as it could risk. It has a complete map of the area programed into it, and takes any shortcuts necessary, including driving across people's property.

Preadator

The hunter scans the cloaked man to see. Surely one who apears from nowhere like that can't be a normal human. Interesting the Asian not quite human takes action. This hunt might be much more enjoyable than it thought.

Deadpool

Discarding the Bea Arthur mask Deadpool once more goes for his swords. "Hey! Cap'n I'm open!"

[Cracklord]

((So, what happened? Did the demon fling Carlisle out, or tear him to pieces as vampires aren't technically living? Did Deadpool save Bea Arthur's face?))

Walker

"Now, now, Walker. Just one man? There was a time when you would have called an army down upon us." The man grasps hold of his watch. "But you're weak and washed up; your Voice decaying, your bosses destroyed, and your domain ripe for the taking." Taking the watch, and putting it into his pocket, the man chuckles. "Say goodbye, Walker." Almost as if in slow motion, the knife blade begins its cut along the middle-aged man's throat.

Cullen Residence

Carlisle's face is revealed for the first time; a high, aristocratic face, which stares defiantly into the Captain's eyes. "Well then. What are you waiting for? An invitation?"

The demon, which had strangely remained dormant for this time, finally acted; everybody was flung out of the house, which now looked less like a home and more like...well, not really anything. Perhaps a work by Jackson Pollock.

[Cracklord]

Egg picks himself up from the wreckage, still holding the bag and the fan. Quickly checking his gear to make sure nothing else is broken, he replaces the bag and begins digging around the wreckage for Carlisle, and to see if everyone else was alright.
All in all, that went a lot better then he expected. Just like old times.

Walker
"I've still got one thing you don't." Walker responds, curtly. He pulls his umbrella forward and attempts to stab the man through the chest, not with the blade inside, but with the umbrella tip itself.

The shadowy figure walks alongside Egg looking for the remains of the Cullen; it did want to know what would happen when it bound the Cullen to his clan.

Cullen Residence

Carlisle is lying with his face looking up at the sky, some thirty feet behind you, too dazed by the blast to even move. As a former human, he was affected more than the rest of you were.

Walker

The umbrella tip jabs into the vampire's side, and the knife slips away, giving you only a shallow cut; you've had worse shaving. His mission already accomplished, though, he turns tail and flees back into the club, pocket watch in his possession.

The Club

The two see a vampire running on the balcony above them.

The shadowy figure looks up at his comrades, "Do you still wish him alive, or shall I now enlighten us as to what happens to his kind when mixed with my clan?"

Broken Sword

Pressed for time, the swordsman strikes the stranger as hard as he can with th flat of his blade, taking care not to kill him. If he is knocked out, Broken Sword takes off after the vampire.

[Cracklord]

Egg shrugs. To be brutally honest, he doesn't even know who the man is, or what he's done. At the moment, he has no opinion.

Deadpool

"As long as it kills him. I don't get paid unless he dies."

Preadator

The hunter meerely growls in lower gutteral tones in response to Broken Sword's question. He takes the hit that at best annoys him.

Then he spots his prey. The not quite man would have to wait. There was a vampire on the run.

Pushing his way through the crowd the hunter climbs the wall with razor claws to reach the vampire.

Broken Sword

He momentarily hesitates in surprise as his sword glances off a metal helmet. Then he pursues the vampire, leaping off tables and shelves toward the balcony. The stranger would have to wait.

The Shadowy figure nods, then moves low enough to stare into the Cullen's eyes as chains covered in spikes rip out of the earth and wrap around the vampire's body inserting the many spikes on the chains into the vampires body, from just below the shoulders all the way down to the bottom of his waist and the figure starts muttering a chant, a chant to turn the vampire into one of them, as he had done many times before. As the man changes, and the wind picks up, the hood is blown down to reveal a pale head with large metallic pins stuck in it everywhere.
Walker
Walker quickly draws the blade from the umbrella, and remembering the trick the female vampire pulled in the church, attempts to hurl the sword through the retreating vampire's back.
