Seriously though, I keep getting amazed at design choices like Medics' white coats contrasting with the colours of all the other classes, making them stand out as a prime target, or the size of classes being a balancing factor.

As I said, I'm looking at finding a better time for everyone that still falls within reason for European players.

Saturdays work best for me, I'm free for the whole afternoon, but I know other people aren't. If 9pm GMT on Saturdays doesn't suit you, and you haven't already done so, it'd be great if you could post times that do here.

Ah, now we start seeing the problem with me being Australian...9pm GMT is just way too early. Midday for me is 3am GMT...I don't think we'll find a working solution for this unless it's morning GMT, but then the American's have it at some obscene time.

Note to anything ever...Don't try to organise a live event between Australia, England, and the US...

Overall I'm happy with my play. Several medic picks, won more sniper duals then I lost, and a few nice shots. I'm starting to like lag.

You were a worthy sniper opponent. Still I'm kinda mad at myself for losing so many sniper duels that's usually my best sniper feature.

Nah, server autokicks after 5 minutes. I'm not sure if rcon access stops that or not, never tried. But that is a possibility I suppose...I'd just need to install TF2 on my quieter computer.

No you can't...and a long demo is a very bad idea. It will crash skipping ahead to ticks so you will have to sit through it to find what you want.

I would suggest asking people to record and submit demos with tick values.

Thing is that I want the spec demo so I can get every angle and so on, rather than individual demos. That's unless I'm missing something to do with demos, which is entirely likely.

I think the advantage of a demo is that it records the position of boolet and people, then plays it out on the appropriate map. When I tested out a demo, I recorded in first person, but I could go into third person with the command. Pretty sure there's one that lets you fly around and observe.

I totally missed the part of this thread involving the Highlander thread, but since i have literally nothing to do but play games (or guitar) on Saturdays, I wouldn't mind signing up for this event instead of just being a sub. I was thinking about playing a M1+M2 pyro today.

As in, put "w" in as M2, so M2 makes me go forward and M1 just shoots.

All I can do is run straight, shoot, and aim. Of course I'll be using the backburner for like the first time ever, since I can't airblast now no point in using the regular one.

With a demo, you can fly around in spectator, but it only records things near player recording the demo. I haven't put time into figuring out how to record everything, but there should be some way.
