Re: Bibliography II
maybe, but your idea is still the one that first came to my mind. lol. maybe with some kind of funky dimensional paradox situation. ;)
i stopped really trying to write in journals a long time ago. it's too much work and time to write down events and how they affected you. :/

Re: Bibliography II
I like it, though it was kind of hard to realize that the book opened to another set of pages on its own. I was at first thinking, "Where did the spell list inside go?"
Also, is that contest still running Elagune? I didn't want to post my characters until you were done drawing the ones you've already accepted.

Re: Bibliography II
So, erh, I made fanart.
I know, I know. It's horrible and I should stop drawing but I did it anyway so I can at least get to post it, right?
Spoiler
Hope it's not too bad.

Re: Bibliography II
Compared to the professionals, I am.
But thanks anyway (I think)
I can't really figure out how to ink it (Probably because I only have Inkscape and paint) and I tried shading it.
It just looked weird when shaded digitally (As digital shading usually uses lighter-than-base colours for shading, which is quite difficult when the base is white) and I use A5 paper to draw so line-shading is out of the picture too.
I could try drawing a more close-up picture with line-shading, though.
I think I'll try thatTreasured Quotes

Re: Bibliography II
Raj, maybe? Abu, if he's humourous. I don't know. If it was arabic or Pakistani names, I could help you, but I'm not so good at Sikh names. There are always baby name sites, though.

Re: Bibliography II
1) She's in the page gang. Duh!
2) Yes. It is.
3) That was the result of Eve beating someone up for the amusement of the rest of the gang.

Re: Bibliography II
1) Hm. Probably for a big character development scene in the middle of the raid on the gang to get rid of the ink supplies, to determine her loyalties, and Ben's subsequent reactions.
That's just my speculation, though.

Re: Bibliography II
Okay, why do her eyes seem so dead? Is the Evil Clone/Twin being introduced already or do you seriously expect us to believe this is Eve despite that such seriousness and somberness does not mesh with her previous characterization.

Re: Bibliography II
True, but considering we have had a range of emotions from Eve in her previous appearances, and none of them come close to the level of emotional deadness portrayed in the current image (heck it even bleeds over into her dialog), I can't believe that this actually is Eve until some explanation for her behavior is provided.

Re: Bibliography II
It has to be. It was made quite clear that she was the one fighting do to her position. Jackie's comment: "The 'Lone Wolf' baring her fangs at the enemy" is directly referencing the Lunar Codex which Eve is a part. It was also part of a response to the statement "...I cannot condone the bullying of the weak, his ego exceeded his ability". She had to be the one who said it, or else the entire image fails to make any sense.
Confusion does stem from the word "Zulu" as a form of address, which could be a code name or that this isn't Eve and it really is an Evil Clone/Twin, especially considering the "Whiskey Tango" remark earlier. So either the Zero Union refer to their members by a military alphabetical designation (not fitting with previous revelations), one of the other members referrs to Eve as "Zulu" for some reason, or the woman who looks like Eve is her twin/clone with a hilariously masculine name (and thus likely a Trap).
EDIT:I'm willing to let this be explained, but Eve was introduced fairly quickly as a pretty sterotypical Genki Girl that this somber, emotionally dead expression is a very frank departure from what we know.Last edited by Zeful; 2010-08-27 at 02:17 AM. Reason: freak'n ninjas

Re: Bibliography II
Why should she be bubbly and happy after having beaten someone up? It seems logical to me that she would be somber after having had to do her gang's dirty work.

Re: Bibliography II
Seen that , remember she said she was on vacation when she met Ben, thhinking about the pages with the All seeing eye Guy and his father (no time to look after names) I myself think of that she maybe some kind of secret agent working for the Zero union just to fint the INk Guys.
If i remember right her father died on the same thing that ink does(but her father did not use ink or?Grammer is my declared deadly enemy!
