Interesting.

A note on Red Fever - you don't need to explain it, even out of comic. It's fairly obvious that it's a) a deadly disease, b) is fairly wide-spread and c) a bad thing. That's all you really need. No need for needless exposition. Then again, it isn't in-comic, so this isn't a valid criticism.

A note that Lloyd's always had a polearm - from the harpoon as a child (although one wonders why they'd use harpoons and nets... wait, monsters.), to the envisioning of the javelins as a Kagonian soldier (a minor note: javelins would rarely be a soldier's primary weapon - although I know most about Romans, the idea of a javelin was that it would be thrown, not used in close-combat. Indeed, Romans designed their javelins to break purposefully so that when thrown, their enemies could not throw them back... but Lloyd is envisioning this as a kid, so he gets a by), to his current halberd. Lloyd clearly has a ingrained fascination for long sticks with bits of metal on the end.

Art critique - something seems off with Kago-Lloyd. I think it's the line between his head and the hair... seems a bit too light. Might just be me, however.

Also: who's betting that Geoffrey becomes an important character? [wmg]He's actually the grand villain of the story who ends up killing Lloyd.[wmg]

Ok. I'm not implying you meant to insult me, I just have occasional trouble connecting the dots, which can be frustrating. I'm just lucky I function as well as I do, given I took a few serious blows to the head when I was little. But most of the time I'm pretty quick, so watch out.

Actually I chose Geoffrey off the top of my head because Kagoans tend to use British names (Geoffrey, Lloyd, Elizabeth), even though they physically appear Asian. (Why? Because why not? )
