"Well, it was some time since I sung and I'm only a amateur with a serious case of stage fright. I really shouldn't get involved with you professionals, I doubt I can compete with any of these people." Cessie replies, "I have only been at stage once you know Aegnor?" She smiles gently at him, hiding her nervousness.

[Murska]

Aegnor smiles back. "Well, you won't have to do anything. But the opportunity is good; I can guarantee there are a lot of worse people here and I doubt we're visiting the place often either."

Kevry looks at both of them. "Now I'm curious."

With a quickly growing annoying flash of light Riv teleports in and starts setting up what appear to be six foot high amps around the stage.

"Let me think about it, okay?" Cessie promises as she turns to Kevry "Curious about what exactly? The time I was on stage?"

Seeing as how his lovely date is over, Zanny returns to the NEXUSSTOCK! The "hawt" bard strides over to the... collection of tents and cars? Big stage? Arena building thing? Whatever. He's whistling a jaunty tune that (magically) will put a nice little spring in your step. The bard looks around for something to do, maybe helping with the setup or something.

The festival is mostly set up now, with tents and booths having sprung up overnight selling food, drinks, t-shirts, and cds. Portapotties are set up. There's a first aid tent. And tickets are being sold. It looks like it's ready to start at any moment. (But I'll let the other Moff actually start it, since I am musically illiterate )

With a quickly growing annoying flash of light Riv teleports in and starts setting up what appear to be six foot high amps around the stage.

Gordon, who took the liberty of going to sleep in a bed, watches as Riv sets things up.

"Relax, after all, you get to watch the show with good seats for free."

Tickets are on sale! Plot clones, HOOOOOOOOO!

A large purple demon dressed in a tuxedo talks up to the ticket seller.

"Two please. One for me, and another for this fine feline."

Eig'Quzi holds up a tiny black kitteh by the scruff of its neck. It mewls happily, quite unconcerned by the eleven foot tall demon trying to get it a ticket to a music festival. I don't know how it happened either. Plot clones are weird.




Some time after Eig'Quzi buys his tickets, a fourteen year old boy with his head shaved walks up to a different stall. Perched upon his arm is a large mottled brown bird of prey. SE23 glances at the bird and it gives a tiny nod.

"One ticket please."

Both the demon and the boy have enough money to buy the tickets.



Zanny vaguely wanders around and buys a T-shirt. Though he's not actually going to ever wear it. Its just to show he was there, ya'know?

Right now, the Pillager and the Axes are just chilling. Ozzy is sitting on a throne that looks like it was made out of a car, sipping Jack Daniel's from a goblet with visages of skulls. A back-up singer with the face of an angel is wooing some random NPC women. The 8 foot drummer made of stone is helping the "roadies" set up the stage. The four-arms-of-chrome man on guitar is stringing the instruments with spiders that look kind of like engines weaving the strings. A woman on keyboard is fondly stroking the keys of an absolutely massive keyboard made of fish-bones.

The guitar man throws the Orbital Death Nuke keys to Riv without saying a word.

((I hope I'm not missing anybody.))

"Let me think about it, okay?" Cessie promises as she turns to Kevry "Curious about what exactly? The time I was on stage?"

"Yeah. Aegnor says you're a great singer." He smiles again. "At least join us to practice, okay?"

Darcy arrives, dressed up a bit more than necessary for someone who is supposedly working backstage. She also added a change in her hair from pink highlights to gold.

And Zanny is there to meet Darcy as she arrives! His customary grin is spread across his face.

"Why hello there. Fancy seeing you here. You look nice."

"Thanks. Have you had a chance to check up on our friend?" Darcy asks.

Gordon claps at the sight of Darcy.

"Well, you dressed up, Darcy. You look completely stunning."

[VampireRot]

"Not yet. I was waiting for you, seeing as how you really handled most of it last time. The Music is still in my head, somewhere."

Zanny nods at Gordon, and barely keeps himself from narrowing his eyes at the blue dragon.

Darcy makes a little curtsey at Gordon, while taking Zanny's arm. "Zanny, this is Gordon, the leader of AMEN. Gordon, this is Zanny, an amazing bard who will be performing tonight."

Cessie looks at Aegnor doubtfully but nods "I guess... maybe? What sort of music are you practicing? I don't know many songs I'm afraid."

She pauses "And for that time at the stage, it was really special, we got engaged just afterwards actually." Cessie smiles blissfully.

"Excellent, we could use a good musican here that doesn't play only rock and roll."

Gordon smiles. This should be good.

Zanny's arm is taken.

"I can play anything really. So, you're leader of AMEN? How's that going?"

[Murska]

Aegnor hugs Cessie once more, grinning. "Yeah. It was."

"Well, Aegnor can play anything and I'll always hang on so it depends on this drummer of his and you, I guess. But with four, and the basic set, I'm thinking maybe..."

He turns to Aegnor. "What do you think of the Rizardam style? We could go with something like that. I think we've a plenty of skill here, after all, and a worthy audience."

Aegnor glances at him. "That was fun. But let's see how things take off."

The two guys start walking, leading Cessie a bit farther to a good spot to practice a bit.

"It varies, depending on how much the Moff is acting up."

Gordon smiles, looks like Darcy has a love interest.

More like a crush. It's way too soon to call it 'love'.

"Oh, I forgot to ask, Gordon. For your duet, what sort of light effects did you want?"

[VampireRot]

"Ah. I suppose it must be a relief that he's busy organizing this whole thing then. Of course, with his clones, he might be a problem no matter what he's doing."

Of course Happy. Of course. Zanny smiles as well.

"A duet? I'll be looking forward for that. With who, might I ask?"

Gordon thinks about how it should go.

Aegnor hugs Cessie once more, grinning. "Yeah. It was."

"Well, Aegnor can play anything and I'll always hang on so it depends on this drummer of his and you, I guess. But with four, and the basic set, I'm thinking maybe..."

"Is it bad I have no idea what that means?" Cessie asks worried, hanging along the other two, not exactly sure what they are going to practice. "I'm not as knowledgeable of music as you two are, what sort of music are you planning to play anyway?"

"Just a spotlight? No effects?" Darcy asks. Then to Zanny, with a smile. "I won't offer to do lighting for your act, I'm afraid."

Zanny grins.

"If I needed someone to do my own lighting, I'd be a poor bard indeed."

He thinks upon this.

"Or just one without magic, I guess."

[Murska]

"Ah, you wouldn't know. It's a place we played at once. I was just thinking of the mood there, it was quite a show. But as for what to practice, my firm belief is that the band needs to just play around a bit to get a feel for each other."

Aegnor falls silent for a moment and then grins at the two.
"Naib can come, and should be here pretty soon."

"That's great. So..."

They reach a somewhat secluded area, and Kevry stops. He pulls out a guitar from a bag too small for it, and tries it out for a moment. "What songs do you know?"

"Oh, I already set up some of the effects. But, maybe a few changing lights to make a background? I'm not used to doing this."

"Sure. I'll improvise. Of course the lighting shouldn't distract from the music, so I'll keep it subtle. Big pyrotechnics only belong with big rock numbers." Darcy says.
