Crissy gasps.
"Oh, no! I thought it was supposed to be a secret! Are you going to be OK?" she asks Kevin urgently.

Kevin can't help but laugh. The alcohol doesn't help either. Crissy, we instated a famous ex-Cardinal as the ruler of an entire Church by force. Tobias didn't even need spies to learn about it. But I'm fine, and I'm pretty sure he understands I didn't do it to betray him...

[The Bushranger]

"...oh."
Crissy can't help but giggle at herself, too!
"Oh. Well, yeah, that's good then, I guess, right? So what do you do now?"

[FireFox]

Like I said, later I'll run a few errands for him, but otherwise I'm still on holiday. He shrugs and orders another drink. What have you been up to, besides running the store?

[The Bushranger]

"Well, running the store, and scheming with Dorotha. Other than that, not too much," Crissy admits. "Oh, and Connor took me to HALO to meet his family. They're kinda, um...odd people."

[FireFox]

Well, trust me, everyone at HALO is more than a little weird. He grins and takes a sip of his drink, belatedly realizing he should go more easy.

[The Bushranger]

Crissy nods, and giggles.
"Yeah, really. Except for Miss Erin! She's nice," she says defensively, as she sips her own, fizzy drink.

[FireFox]

Aye, that she is. But she's also a little bit weird. Kevin thinks of all the women he's seen Erin go after, and blushes into his mug.

[The Bushranger]

"Is not!" Crissy protests, giggling. "She's nice and cool and has a big heart, and I wish I looked half as good as she did. Does."

[FireFox]

Well, she ain't human. Which is admittedly a good argument for weirdness.
You look as pretty as she does, Crissy. He's not drunk yet, not by a long shot, but his country accent is starting to get thicker.

Crissy would protest further, but Kevin's comment catches her off-guard.
She blushes fiercely, and looks away.
"...really?"

[Earl of Purple]

The rodent-like creature carries no diseases. Not yet, anyway. It is also successfully trapped under the glass, unless it is a small glass. See, the creature is larger than rats get. Not very much larger, but noticably larger. Inspection also reveals its eyes are ice-blue and that it has a pair of pointed wolf-like ears, rather than the more rounded ones it had earlier. Its fur is still grey, however.

Andy stand up pick his arm up and rebuild it to his shoulder.
Then he turns to Tobias.

"Ah I saw this thing befor. It bit Len and then grow. The Mad man who caused all the trouble here thougth its his way to say hello. But I think this is like a parasit. Take good care after it. Oh and you mentioned someone who could sell us weapons I would need some if possible."

[Lord Magtok]

A man in a fancy black suit, gloves, and slacks steps into the tavern, idly tossing a knife about in one hand as he approaches the bar. He has a perfectly ordinary, uncarved, large pumpkin where his neck and head should be.

[Morty]

Dorotha, who has been staying a little away from Crissy and Kevin to allow them to talk, looks at the pumpkin-headed man with wide eyes.

[Chaotic Bob]

A chipmunk falls from the sky towards the pumpkin, clearly intent on feasting.
Or hugging it adorably.

The pumpkin-headed man may never know.
Or he will. Who knows?
Or maybe what will make who know?

[Lord Magtok]

What's right hand darts forward at unnaturally fast speeds, intent on plucking the chipmunk right out of the air with one black leather fist, and then squeezing the everliving boop out of it until it snaps like a twig and splatters all over his glove and dies horribly.

Raptor Jesus Christ.

[Chaotic Bob]

And all that it wanted was love.
Instead of the gift that keeps on giving, the pumpkin head man is treated to the gift that stains a little bit and smells something fierce later on, likely all over his head and hand.

Ah well. Can't all be winners.

[Lord Magtok]

Mr. What simply drops the thing onto the floor when he's done with it, and drops some money on the counter, before pointing a bloodied finger at a drink. Seeing as he doesn't exactly have a mouth, I'm guessing he just wants it to wash the blood off his hand. Eww.

As for Dorotha, she might notice that his pumpkin-head never moves. Never. I have no idea how you can tell what he's looking at, at any given time. He might be watching you right now, even.

Dorotha decides she's really not in the mood for this kind of thing and moves as far away from What Pumpkin as she can.

[Lord Magtok]

What makes a small bloody tally mark on a small notepad he pulls out from his suit. He then dips his hand in the drink he ordered, wipes his glove dry and clean with a piece of cloth, and heads for the door. Doesn't seem to be too many folks here right now, and he's in no mood to be crushing more filthy rodents to death in this dump.

On his way out though, his body briefly turns towards Dorotha, and he just stands there for a moment, facing her, before continuing on his way.

Tobias is..still holding a ratlike creature under a glass cup.

...Sure hope this plot thread hasn't been forgotten. <.<;

Len Walks over to Tobias and takes a closer look at the Rat.

No offense, Captain, but I don't think my eyes go very well with your ears. What d'you think we should do with the little bugger?

The rodent-thing is trying to gnaw its way through the glass jar. It's not very successful; the glass is too smooth for a good mouth-grip.

A black-haired young man in loose-fitting clothing enters the tavern after some NPCs. Despite his straight posture, he's not particularly tall, and he's quite thin. Looking around with alert eyes, he quickly buys a drink and sits down at a table next to a wall before continuing to observe everything that's going on.

Damon walks into Trog's and looks around for any sign of Vizek. He looks a little nervous, perhaps worried about something...

Meanwhile, a woman in a black dress typical of those in mourning slides up to a table precisely next to the loose-clothes man.
She would appear to be drinking orange juice and staring at...whatever he's staring at.

Bored, she is, so she came here for amusement.
So might as well start by settling down here near this fellow. Not exactly sure what she expects here, but it has to be better than staring at a wall.

Maybe he'll say hi, maybe something will explode, maybe she'll make fun of his hair. Maybe that rodent that got gooshed earlier will reassemble and flit into a hole in the wall.
The world may never know.

Damon can see Vizek sitting around at a table in his human form, he appears to have acquired some female company of sort... wait, is that Nixm? She looks a bit different without all the bruisers on her body.

Sarah grumbles as Vizek and Nixm appears to be engaged in some sort of conversation.

[Murska]

As the woman sits, the man turns to look at her curiously. After a moment of staring at each other, assuming she doesn't start a conversation, he gives off the impression of a mental shrug without moving. "Hello."

Talii will look at the rat-thing with Tobias. "What is it?"
