Don't say they're like this. Show they're like this. So far, IC the new Maxios has been... well, he's made a couple of moves that don't speak well of his intelligence, this court case actually being one of them (since he breached an agreement to abide by Grace's arbitration).

Andy and Crazy Rae and Mercury entered his mind to destroy an alien parasite. A large brawl started out, with Mercury nearly killing Maxios. Maxios forced himself to become a ghost, to destroy Mercury and the alien.

The Courier is basically a Dirty Harry version of Maxios from Fallout: New Vegas

Course, weak as he is, he'll need someone to hold Maxios while he hits him.

It is only if he is suing them and asking in reparation that he be made leader that he is breaching the agreement.

Should he simply be asking to be allowed to join the organization as reparation for unfair bias then the agreements is not breached.

It's a matter of what he is asking for in reparations. Once that is determined then you can question the characters intelligence.

Until then it's actually a pretty reasonable action. (Hates people suing other people. But I have to admit it's not an unreasonable or unintelligent action in this case.)

Where the Courier is from...there is no honor. He has his own ideas of honor, that are very abstract from the regular belief
