He seems to have caught himself now, but is dangerously close to tipping over as he bows.

Thrid's okay with goblins generally. Gnomes though, they're nothing but trouble.

"Nope, jus came ere after spottin dat crash. I was tryin to do a bit o scavengin, but a buncha kids with power armour came along. Dey ain't got no respect for dere elders. So now I'm ere."

Friend has never seen a goblin before so he is OK with them too. He's OK with most people he's never met.

"I am a newcomer as well but the cat-human Butler helped me join this Guild"

Reelshka nods to Friend, then scowls when Third mentions "scavenging". I don't see anything wrong in preventing you from scavenging on a crash site. Especially this ship seems to belong to those "kids in power armor".

Thrid returns the scowl. And what a scowl it is. He's had years and years to perfect it. "Bah, yer daft girly. I was just takin a bit o scrap metal an some wires an other bits. Ain't nothing dey were gunna use an someone should get some use outta dem."

Reelshka seems unaffected by the scowl and scowls right back.
Well, they didn't let you. And since it's their ship, they have a right to it.

"Buncha hog wash is what is is. Probly end up in some landfill somewhere. Waste o good scrap. Sides, I gave it back to dem after dey caught me. So don go gettin yer panties in a knot, girly." Thrid replies. He doesn't seem to care about her opinion, surprise surprise.

The Encyclopede ignores the drones. It isn't here to study interesting magitech robots, that will come later. It will continue picking up bits of scrap metal and other debris from the ground and loading its bag.

Thrid grunts and goes back to his drinking. "Ow's yer drink treatin ya, boy?" he asks Friend.

Friend is still engaged in a methaphorical fight with his drink but nods.

"Strong, but strangely well-tasting."

He then topples over and falls asleep.

About time, must have been a few weeks without sleep by now.

Thrid laughs and shakes his head. "Couldn even handle one." He returns to his drink.

Chris just stands tall, obviously expanding some sort of authority and calm despite the rather bad situation.

"I understand. And I will be glad to let her go, like I said. However, you still haven't answered my question. I don't want to be hostile or stubborn, but to be quite frank I don't know who you are, or what your relation to this girl is. I also don't want any real harm to come to her."

Chris then gives the creature a small smile. "Perhaps I should introduce myself first. My name is Chris."

"I... understand." Orich mimics slowly, and his arms retreat into their sheathes. His speech is ordered, very concise as a Construct should speak, but also tinged with more human emotion. "Her safety is not your concern."

Then he adds, cautiously, "But I am called Orich. I am a..." He pauses, as if preparing a pre-programmed response. "A friend of her father."

I guess that would be similar to my transforming, then. I do not think about it. I just do it.

Runner nods. That is a trait of my race. We are able to transform into various objects that we have scanned, with some limitations. The main one being size. I could not transform into a radio, simply because I am too big.

Yes, the motorcycle is the form I most commonly use.

Most of my race tend to use only one or two forms. However, I have found it useful to have many.

Runner shrugs a little. None that I am aware of. However, most forms require one to scan the object they want to mimic first. So that they can copy it exactly.

And after a moment, where he was standing, there is now a silver and blue motorcycle. Crae may notice a symbol on the gas tank, which was also on Runner's shoulder. A red, kind of squarish looking face.

Chris nods his head, examining Orich in interest. Seems like he's still learning basics of social activity.

He also notes the rather oddly timed pause. "Really now? It's nice to meet you Orich."

Chris then looks down at Sarah. "Do you know him?" It's somewhat obvious that he's still looking for confirmation.

The rider's mouth is in sync with what Runner is saying.
