Witchunt V1.0 Game 3 - We are going to need more ducks

I feel as though lynching Internet Flea is stupid and a waste of time. We may reasonably conjecture that he'll survive the lynch, which leaves us with little info. Even if he dies, that leaves us with little info. And he's generally acting townie-ish. I don't see any reason lynching him would be particularly helpful.

What do you think about Eternal Drifter's last post? I think it's worth looking into.

Eternal Drifter's last post tries to establish itself as 'I'm doing analysis on multiple people here, take me seriously, I'm not just accusing someone because that would be suspicious' but basically lists a few people others have suspected, says 'I don't know anything about these' and then accuses Internet Flea with little basis.

I'm not too great at the logical analysis, but I'll try to explain my gut.

My current thinking is Zanshin. He is contributing very little and follows the band wagons. His votes seem to lie in what i believe to be a scummy place/order.

What I really mean is that it's easy for me to imagine him being a puppet directed by the witch chat.

Well honestly, I'm getting paranoid and seeing witches everywhere. One thing I dislike about all this is people are taking it at face value that Sotek was a good guy. We have absolutely zero evidence to support that idea. Sotek as a skilled player and hadn't really given us anything to chew on, I don't put it past him to sac himself.

Meantime, Flea, you ask an interesting question. Notice I haven't voted for you yet, despite my suspicions. I'm loathe to throw a lynch away on the off chance your enchantress or warlock. Byers, I just want him to answer my questions to satisfaction. Seraine seemed confused, but since I just screwed up by mistaking confusion for guilt with Hipen3, I refuse to pursue that. No, I'd have to saw I find Qwaz pretty suspicious. Not overly so, but he seems to be lurking the thread rather than just AFK. Which makes me think he's deliberately trying to keep a low profile.

Is that "I just claimed WW" level of suspicious? Nope, not even in the same ball park. Let's see how Byer's responds and then I'll consider my next move.

I'm sure you all realize you're wasting the day; no matter what I turn out to be, you'll have very little information and the witches will have another kill.

Mannikath, Crunchy English, Zanshin, Horoar, Ramsus; who is the scummiest player aside from me?

Right now there could be 2 witches and 1 innocent in the GAs. If you are Innocent, that would even them out, and the NK would give us back the advantage. It's for the greater good. Sure, the chances of Hipen being a witch are low, but someone knows the truth, and they are keeping quiet.

Horoar says I follow band wagons. But I am pointing at him. Because he defended Byer AND Hipen yesterday. I still don't think Byer has cleared himself.

I do have a crazy theory about Flea's claim. Sotek was not fake claiming. And Flea knew it, since he's the Acolyte. So he has to claim something more dangerous- the WW. Only it didn't work. The chances of this being right are quite low, about a .2% chance of BOTH of these things being correct if my math is correct.

1) Hipen
A. Hipen was Innocent-
B. Hipen was a Witch-
C. Hipen was the Spy-

2) Night Kill
A. Orzel was a Witch, and was Sac'd to kill Sotek
B. Orzel was the Spy, and was Sac'd to kill Sotek
C. Sotek was a Witch, and was Sac'd to kill Orzel
D. Sotek was the Spy, and was Sac'd to kill Orzel

3) The Assassin
A. The Spy is/was the Assassin
B. Hipen was the Assassin
C. The Witches chose to only kill one person w/ the Sac, thus making us think A or B.

Please let me know which path you think is the most probable. Personally 1A, 2B, 3A is the MOST probable, but that doesn't make it 100% true.

Yes, the martyr is told who is being NK'd before the night ends or the player could make a standing order to save players X, Y and Z when they die. The martyr save is stated, since he also dies.

I did say it was a one-in-a-million shot. And not like the SciFi version that is ALWAYS true.

And I did answer. I still think Horoar is the most suspicious. He keeps trying to get the bandwagon to turn on me, but never says WHY I'm suspicious. Oh, wait, because I join bandwagons and my placement on them is "scummy" (note: I really hate that word). If Hipen in innocent, then there are 11 people who are suspicious- wolves love easy bandwagons. If not, we should look at the 10 other people- especially those who try to push other bandwagons.

Hmmm it's hard for me to say which particular person aside from you I find the most suspicious. If I had to pick just one I'd say CitizenFry. This is in part for defending you and for a couple other statements I found rather fishy. Though really that's basically just arbitrarily picking one of several people that have said things that I just don't trust at all.

Hm. Just thought of another sacrifice possibility, where a witch says Hipen3 seems like the BOD and the witches sac to avoid another "Aemoh the Invincible" type of thing. That's probably a bit more likely than Junior Witch craziness, but makes it more of a tossup as to who was the sacrifice.

Oh right. Day 1 Werewolf claim isn't dangerous, as the witches can't nightkill me due to Spy and mass roleclaims the next day, and town won't lynch for fear of wasting it. If I were trying to draw fire from Sotek, I would have claimed DOB, as that's the only role that might take precedence over the Priest.

Que? "Default DOB target" is not exactly a defense, IMO. You could interpret it as "guy who is so scummy I don't think he even deserves a chance to defend himself".

I think you're reading that post wrong, he's indicating people that are more scummy (he gives them negative points, then he gives YOU negative a lot of points for CLAIMING WEREWOLF).

As for his play, he's actually being a little bit looser with info than I'm used to, but that may be because there's significantly less to go on than the games I've previously seen him in. Mannikath, comment?
