Re: Assassins IV: The Return
I'll pity on Quaz and hop onto the rakkoon bandwagon instead . He voted for me yesterday anyway...

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
squints with rheumy eyes across the courtyard toward Calar, lowering his hand from where it points toward
rakkoonand using it to pluck at the bits of moldy hay tangled in his beard.
"Aye...exactly. There is no reason other than t' remind him of his manners, sonny. I've no reason to see anyone dead...save the actual assassins, o' course."
Nodding once toward Rakkoon before shifting his gaze back around the courtyard at all the fingers pointed in his direction, the elder guardsman leans heavily on his walking stick as he continues to pick debris from the white whisps of his beard.
"I suppose an old man doesn't have much use as a guard anymore...what with the frequent trips to the loo and bad eyesight and all...but I still have my uses."Last edited by Joosbawx; 2011-03-18 at 05:00 PM.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
I think it's suspicious how often Joosbawx stroke through rakkoon. And how fast rakkoons bandwagon grows.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Standing at her guard post outside the Queen's chamber, the young guard with the strawberry-blonde hair tries not to think too much how the young man the previous night had been killed, glaring at a rakkoon as it scampers by outside the window.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
I was thinking the same thing, but didn't know what to make of it. =/
Also, if you notice, he appears to have struck through his original post right before making the new one, then struck through that one shortly after. Not sure what it means though.
If anyone was curious, I believe the vote count is tied at 7 between rakkoon and Joosbawx.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Speed on bandwagon making is useless for us. There are only two active assassins, as far as the others know, they're just villagers. Joosbawx.

While raccoon's are annoying, Rakkon isn't exactly a raccoon. And earwax is gross, Joosbawx isn't exactly earwax...

(Sorry i missed day 1, was a little busy IRL.
Anyhow, normaly i'd vote at random at day 2 because i feel it's a little early forserious analysis but with 25% rule in action I'll choose between one of the two bandwagons.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Ahum, if you're going to lynch me I request a couple of things
- Bury me with a tombstone saying Rakkoon (two o's)
- Add the inscription "Loyal Guard untill his untimely demise"
- Add "Loved his queen till the end and beyond"
- Keep having two bandwagons but don't get suckered in by the first two names, the wolves could use this too easily

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Day 2
The old guard pointed his gnarled finger at the relatively new guard, Rakkoon. You just stand back and watch, sonny. You may learn a ting or two. Gnnnnnnn.
He began to pull on his walking stick, as if trying to pry it apart. nnnnnnguh!! But nothing happened. After a moment of catching his breath, he tried again. Gnnnnnnguh! Why you stupid thing!! He smacked the stick to the ground. Click. Amazingly, the stick split apart slightly, revealing a blade within.
The old man smiled at Rakkoon, happy to have finally revealed his secret weapon. I had this made just before the battle of.... of.... Oh, I forget what it was called. But it was in the forest Rhine to the west.
The Battle of Rhine? Rakkoon suggested.
The old guard just glared at him. Young punk. Think you know so much. he mumbled. Yes, the Battle of Rhine.
He then turned his back on Rakkoon. Now get over here, and follow my movements. He took up a stance, the blade in one hand, the rest of the hollow walking stick in the other. Just use your scabbard for now.
Rakkoon pulled out his blade and was about to move next to the old guard, when another guard came running to Joosbawx's rescue. Halt!! Halt!!
Before Rakkoon had a chance to explain, the guard ran his blade through Rakkoon's stomach. Rakkoon, surprised, doubled over. Why?
Joosbawx knelt down next to the young guard, holding him kindly. I'm sorry youngin'. He looked up to scold the other guard, but he was gone. Frowining, he looked back down to Rakkoon. I think you were just assassinated.
Rakkoon looked up at Joosbawx. I have a couple of requests. Joosbawx nodded his head, he was listening.
Bury me with a tombstone saying Rakkoon. That's with two o's, *Cough cough* and two k's. Add the inscription "Loyal Guard untill his untimely demise".
Rakkoon layed his head back. The old guard started to lower him down to the ground. But then Rakkoon lifted his head once more. Oh, and could you have them add "Loved his Queen 'til the end and beyond"
I will, sonny. I will. Joosbawx promised. And Rakkoon looked to have finally drifted off to his final slumber. But as he passed on, the old man was sure he heard him say one last thing. Keep having two bandwagons, but don't get suckered in by the first two names, the wolves could use this too easily.
The old man didn't understand what the last part meant, but he'd try to remember it.
Summary
SpoilerRakkoon was killed by an Assassin dressed as a Royal Guard. He was a Royal Guard.
