Re: [D&D 3.5] The War-Marked, Reloaded (CC 3.0)
To be honest, I'd be happier with a little "With contributions by Giant in the Playground poster Jarian" blurb somewhere. I wouldn't feel right trying to publish something almost entirely designed by other people.
Knowing that it has your approval is good enough for me, though. My forum avatars appear to have decomposed in my absence. C'est la vie.Homebrewer's Signature

Mark of the Mythic Shadow, Mark of the Savant, and Mark of the Time Lord added. That's the end of my ideas for Legendary marks.

Re: [D&D 3.5] The War-Marked, Reloaded (CC 3.0)
Hmm, some new neatness in here that I may get to adding to the first post sooner than later. I have a question about Mark of the Archmage and Divine, in that if the spells you choose can come metamagic'd or if you'll have to expend feats to buff them later on?
Also, I'd love to see a Legendary Mark emulate the Blade of Ragnarok epic destiny, as I think the Legendary Marks lack a Badass Normal mark. Some War-Marked just want to be able to kick in more heads and take more names in a quicker fashion so he can get to the next battlefield, y'know?
...I now want to stat up the dead god of war, Stratis, as a War-Marked, complete with the Ebon Glaive...
Oh yeah, and Doc, where exactly is a BSD non-MIT license actually defined, as I can't find anywhere that defines them that isn't talking about software licenses. This is more for my personal edification than a current desire to publish.Last edited by Cieyrin; 2011-04-08 at 01:24 PM.

It actually is a software license, oddly enough. It's suitable for this. It basically means attribution+inclusion of the header, and it's open for commercial use.

Re: [D&D 3.5] The War-Marked, Reloaded (CC 3.0)
Hey Cie and Jake, a mild question!
Is there any particular difference between the original source, the document that's (or that was) on the Google Docs, and the forum-formatted version? Aside from the big pic, of course, and Jarian's extension of 6 levels?
Also, did any of you guys published the 3.x format of Sage? Not sure if I recall. And then there's the Rogue (Maverick) in 3.x format. Then again, is there any other class that has to be 3.x formatted, aside the Paladin for obvious reasons?Retooler of D&D 3.5 (and 5e/Next) content. See here for more.

Re: [D&D 3.5] The War-Marked, Reloaded (CC 3.0)
The original source and the Google Doc are one and the same, firstly. The only difference between the Google Doc (which should still be up, far as I'm aware, though I haven't checked lately) and what's presented here is I removed the comments that cluttered the Google Doc. I was going for readability, which the constructive comments made less viable.

I think I vanished before we posted Sage or Maverick for 3.x.

Re: [D&D 3.5] The War-Marked, Reloaded (CC 3.0)
Finally got around to finishing this, that is bringing Jarian's finishing of the class into the post, adding info about the abilities and marks she made into the class, found a pic for Archetypes and cleaned up a few more typos. Plus, hell, letting a new crop of people see it is always a good thing, amirite?
Feel free to comment and use, this'll probably be the last update I make on this, unless new marks or feats crop up or some of the unfinished marks get done by enterprising homebrewers. *wink wink nudge nudge* Been a pleasure, consider this a Thanksgiving gift.
