Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Debating changing my vote - but it feels a little to early to throw my vote in for something else yet, But then, I'm also going to be fairly busy today. If voting is still open until Midnight I should be fine...

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Gah! So many awesome choices. How will I ever make up my little mind?
Hmmm... Canageek has a point though; I have seen most of those done in one obscure form or another, but I have never even heard of a Cliffworld before.
I do wonder how many people may find the idea to be... rappel-ant*.
*Yes. Yes I did.If I had a +1 Pan of Frying I could totally do that!

As much as Ilike Sky World, I choose to assist World Unbounded in getting to first place.

Votes tallied. Recherché, I can't accept a double vote, you'll have to pick just one.

While space may be the final frontier for us, who says it has to be for worlds. I have never heard of a cliffworld campaign setting, but a few space adaptations exist here on GitP....

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
I think sky world should be taken out. It looks like a part of garden world (on the canopies) or cliff world (on the mountains).

Cliff World for me. Good luck build team. Though you (well, a build team anyway) did good enough the first time anyway.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
Meh... Space, IMO, will just never live up to the hype. Despite the Build Team's awesomeness, Space is still too big as a setting idea to be fully fleshed out. And if it is, it won't be "big" enough, and too focused.
Also it's been done.
Also this is D&D, goddamit, I can go elsewhere for space.
This is hard. Cliffworld sounds cool, but... Mediterranean would produce a really cool feel I think... but then again, the same feel as HoZ should produce... also Sky World could be awe-
Sky World. How can this not be getting more votes. Airships? Magic? Epic? I think so.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
I vote for Space because I had a vague idea about creating a PrC that granted Wing Dragons a spelljamming speed. Regardless of what mechanics you use for space battles (and I hope there are some), I think I could do a parallel PrC.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
I would like to change FROM
Garden WorldTO Sky World
I'm envisioning a city kept up by massive air currents, with people literally stepping off and being thrust to other places. A world where the Air itself is ours.Last edited by ragingrage; 2011-06-18 at 11:35 PM.

Garden World For me, the imagery of the vastness of nature and the dangers lurking just calls out to me
Check out the Hansbachman Blog, it's a cure for all of your ills!
It's Grade A, Top Notch, and One of a Kind!

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
By the way, I'd really be interested in helping out on the build team, if you have an open position. I've been playing D&D for a very long time, and basically have every 3.5 splatbook ever. I've done a couple small homebrew projects on my own, but nothing of this scale though. If there's anything in particular you're looking for, send me a PM and we'll go from there.

Re: Vote Up A Campaign Setting 2
That's really cool. I think I might have to switch to Cliffs before the vote ends, though, because that would also be awesome and this will never win.
I just like the idea of ravines that haven't been ventured into for thousands of years, holding the wealth of long-gone civilizations for the taking of the really adventurous. Towering cliffs that hold between them flourishing, huge civilizations that have never once scaled their walls to the world outside - maybe that's your civilization. Mountains that hold entire worlds unto themselves.
...huh, I just convinced myself. Switching from Skyworld to Cliffworld.

I think I'm going to vote for Garden World. Plants, just absolutely everywhere, plant races, carnivorous plants it would be great.
