The riots here have pretty much stopped for now, although they were happening in the north of London. It's ok though as only mad people live in north London. Apologies & commiserations to anyone that actually lives near Tottenham though.

Given your length, you can't possibly weigh more than me, and as an experienced cherry tree climber, I can say that 1 inch branches should be just fine for climbing for as long as you stay close to the stem, although you should aim to continue climbing if there are thicker branches higher up.

Also, how high was this tree? I'm just curious.

The issue was that that was it until three feet over that, so how I was going to go up from one to another I didn't know, and the branch was about an inch thick too. Even if I could have gotten there I would have had to either stand on one foot while trying to move up the four feet necessary to get a new foothold.

I dunno, maybe twenty feet, but I was about five feet off the ground when I fell.

The whole of England is rioting, yes. Because England is so tiny that is is one homogenous culture, and whatever is happening in one part of it must be universally happening all over the country.

Also, I'm 99% certain I just bought an album off of the lead singer of one of my favourite bands. I'm also 99% certain I shoulda said something. At first I was thinking like, man, you totally look like Care Failure from Die Mannequin, but then I was like, nah, that's silly, what would Care Failure be doing at the cashier of a random HMV in downtown Toronto? It's probably just some punk girl who looks similar.
But I just checked, and she was even wearing the same necklaces that Care always wears.
Whuuuut.
And the band was in Toronto just a few days ago, and probably is still kicking around here somewhere.

So guys, yesterday I learned there is a thing called Butter Lettecue. It is lettecue that, surprisingly enough, tastes exactly like butter.

Why doesn't everyone use this? It's a solution to ALL the problems. Hell, you could probably mash it up into a butter like paste, if you're concerned about texture differences. And god knows it'll be much cheaper to grow a plant and mash it up then make all those byproducts and what not for making butter. So you could sell it fairly cheaply.

So you see, this is an amazing discovery and I'm shocked no one has thought of it yet.

Schlock Mercenary only took me a few days to catch up on.
Sluggy couldn't keep me interested for long enough.

My dad wanted a me to make a cherry pie, and to do that involved getting the cherries in the first place.

I spent a week in a place with no internet, going to bed around midnight and waking up at 6:30 AM. I got home Saturday. I spent 2 and a half hours clogging the drain with my leg hair (which took like 5 minutes to fix, go me) that night, after going to see Cowboys and Aliens (good movie, by the way, if you enjoy Westerns), and was up until 5 AM. Then I woke up at 8:45 and shaved my face, went to church, went out to lunch, came home long enough for a short discussion about shooting and fencing, and demonstration of shooting stance, with my dad, then spent the following 8 and a half-ish hours at the mall with my friends to celebrate one of their birthdays, part of which was spent looking for a dress which would look good on me.
Also, we saw X-Men: First Class at a discount theater. It was good.

Regarding the cause of the riots, apparently someone who may or may not have been carrying a gun that may or may not have been a fake was shot dead by police a couple of days ago, possibly in a firefight but probably not. I'm not really sure. Now I think it's just got too much momentum to stop any time soon.
