In fairness, this is a guest strip - how canon Senna's attitude is, is up for debate.

So far all I've seen of her* is a generally nice, but apparently quite spoiled person whose standards are a lot more worldly than the rest of the cast.

They wait tables and sit at a desk in Montreal - she jetsets around the world being an object of affection, both physical and sexual, to thousands. Even if she could be more polite about it, I can't really blame her if she's used to getting what she wants.

For my 2 cents; Senna dresses like a female, acts feminine and (genitals aside) generally identifies as a female. I don't think it'd be impolite to address Senna as 'she', if that's the identity that she chooses to portray in public, and grammatical technicalities be damned!

It seems though that Senna and Sandra will get a comic of their own though, so it's likely that the artist who did this will continue on with this, so that this portrayal is actually part of the canon Senna.

Really, as far as flirting goes, I don't really find this all too effective. I mean, you normally shower naked and alone. Also, Gary probably doesn't think in sexy terms when it comes to DiDi, she's just way way out of his league.

Really, it's an ill-chosen time. Gary has just lost his virginity and managed to make his partner's legs wobbly at the first try. Considering how impervious to hints he normally is, I don't think he'd notice if someone crashed a truck into him right now.

Which, in my mind, does him credit. While it's not a real problem for me, it's nice to see someone who'll not jump at every opportunity of some skin, if only so we'll get some variation.

I think Gary's denseness is the cultivated by resignation, to a big part. I mean, no one has ever slept with him before, so assuming they might want to is just a way to let himself down. I'm personally familiar with this line of thought.

Also, while his deflowering is bound to reverse this to some degree, right now is a terrible point in time to hit on him. His head is filled with Kiley, there's no room for DiDi there right now.

Honestly? Im not sure. I mean, the whole connotations of the situation were a bit odd. First it was a spur of the moment thing, then he felt bad for *cough* screwing up, so he felt obligated to swirly the hell out of her, and now she is basically saying, "hey, since you rocked me so good, do you want another poke? I dont mind." Almost like she doesnt care either way, she might as well have offered him the use of one of her socks.

I'm not entirely sure that actually happened, it could have been DiDi's question, not Kiley's.

Also, Kiley seems a whole lot more blasé about it (for the little we see of her) than I would have expected. It's possible she's considering this some really great stress relief and nothing more. It's not like she seemed desperate for a boyfriend, after all, and sex != love.
