I must say, the running "walk in on" gag is one of the better ones in the comic.

I assume this is some Transformers song or something. Hm, is Gary getting pushed into Transformers more and more? In the start, he was a bit of an omnigeek.

It's good luck Zii is in a good mood, some guitarists can get really pissy if you touch their instrument without at least implied permission.

Okay, it's a bit more direct than we're used to from Didi, but I'm fairly sure that I remember her making a similar comment before. Didn't she call Sonya a 'little girl' at one point, when she was competing for someone's attention?

The old style had a more western, Archie-like look while the new one is closer to the conventions in anime (although, it's really more a matter of using some tools that show up in anime, such as the large sweat drop, than an all out anime art style). While different to each other, I think neither is inherently more realistic.

I saw a lot of people over at the "official" pixietrix forum saying that Gary needs to defend Kiley, even declare that she is his girlfriend and tell DiDi off, but somehow I don't know that that would be a good approach.

They met the previous day and had crazy spur of the moment sex 1 time and then to make up for his lack of staying power Gary "entertained" her for a while, which she clearly loved. But for him to say, "She's my girlfriend" after just that? I'm pretty sure just about any girl would be like, "Whoa, hold on a second, buddy."

Obviously staying quiet and letting DiDi get so catty that she scratches Kiley's eyes out (metaphorically) would not be a good way to go either, but what would be? How on Earth should he approach this? This could be the start of something great for him with Kiley, but he's just walked into a mine field. So while we can probably count on Gary to do the most foolish thing possible, what do you guys thing would be the smart move?

Really? I always considered them somewhere in the Lolo Ferrari vicinity, as far as the size goes. Natural, yes, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't suffocate by them if she would be sleeping on her back.

That is to say, I always figured her breasts are comically large and way too big to be realistic. Used to titilate male readers(and I imagine some female readers as well, lets not be sexist), but way too big to be realistic.

Id say, ideal thing to do here would be to ignore this little power play, introduce her to everyone, find out what she wants, then, if didi keeps acting this, ask to talk to her in private to find out why she is being a witch with a b. Avoid public confrontations if at all possible. Especially as everything is so up in the air with him and kiley.

Given the nature of this comic, I don't have to even finish reading that post; whatever you said is almost certain not to happen.

Don't be so quick, Gary's had somewhat of a breather the last comics. I say that this ends in a small breast psychosis by Kiley, however, probably brought on by DiDis constant flirting with Gary and her, well, presence(s).

In this situation, he decidedly needs to tell DiDi politely but firmly to leave Kiley and him alone for a while so that he can listen to what she wants to tell him. Maybe Kiley and him could go for a walk, getting rid of both Zii and DiDi and thereby finding some quiet. This is probably unlikely because it'd be kinda "boring", unless the roommates decide to stalk and spy on them.

He should be able to get the condescension and cattiness in DiDi's tone; but he's probably not collected enough to pick up this kind of clue.

However, there would be no excuse for letting Kiley go crying after yet another self-image panic attack. He already failed to catch Yuki back... So, out with DiDi, at least for a while. But the comic will want to maximize hijinks.

Just stand there like an idiot, unable to process what is happening. Kiley will likely run out crying, and he won't understand why.

Maybe, eventually, like weeks or months later, he'll finally react properly.

By the way, is the word 'roommate' what you'd typically use in Canada towards someone you're sharing an apartment with? Wouldn't 'housemate' or 'flatmate' be less suggestive and more accurate?

I found today's comic a little funny, not really hilarious, but a good move on Zii's part that I've seen people on the Ma3 forums predict (though they thought she would go about it a more direct way, as in just telling DiDi to stop talking).

Dunno... I guess she isn't that used to the situation either and she had to think about it. First she thought it was just some one-night stand and then she realized Gary is actually a pretty nice guy and she doesn't want to just leave him like that. And crawling back like that s kind of embarrassing.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if she were coming back to ask Gary to never speak of it again.

Nothing to do with his performance or attitude, which so far has been above average and excellent, respectively, but the thing is that Kiley was trying to help Yuki to get with Gary, and has basically stolen him out from under her nose. It wouldn't be entirely radical if Kiley were to wonder if this were a sort of adultery and thus to try and hide it from Yuki.

Whether or not she'll be able to remember this argument the next time a Swirly-Go-Round is on the cards, is another matter entirely.....

Zii's 'big sister' feelings for Gary (which, I will confess, seem to have spun off from her plots to keep him away from Didi) have been established pretty well by now- its one of the major reasons that I don't join the legions of the Anti-Zii (the other being that she can be seen as shallow, hedonistic and childish, but not actively evil as such). To be honest, its Didi that really suprises me- remember, this was the woman who had guilt nightmares over peaking at Gary's crotch. Her putdowns of Kiley seem to hint that she's heading in the opposite direction to Zii.
