Roy finally beat Thog by collapsing a ceiling on top of him after Thog pounded him into a lower room. Also Thog may or may not be dead, and may or may not be for good. Who knows, but Giant?

trained Guys don't look at explosions (without a transparent shield). If they did they could get blinded in several different ways. And in a fight that would be bad.

    Okay.

So the fight status is as follows:

    Haley: Stone. Neutralized.
    Vaarsuvius: Plane-shifted. Neutralized.
Roy: Active, searching for new target.
Belkar & Mr. Scruffy: Active, seeking targets.
Elan & Durkon: Active, engaging Elan & Sabine.
    Blackwing: Active, status unknown.

    On the other side:
Nale & Sabine: Active, engaged with Elan & Durkon.
    Kobold : Plane-shifted, neutralized.
    Kobold animal companion: Unknown.
Zzd'tri: 0 HP, out of spells, captured by EOB. Neutralized.
    Qark: Plane-shifted, neutralized.

    And on the gripping side:
Tarquin and an unknown number of EOB allies: Active, not engaged.

At this point, it doesn't look like Nale will be able to win this one. But it also appears extremely likely that Tarquin will capture the lot. Then what?

    Respectfully,

    Brian P.

I just took the image and embedded it in my post. So yeah, wait until you have a different way to access the internet, I tried, sorry. (Why the random emoticons btw?)

Also, hey Rich! I'd like you to know that I got you at least one new reader just by posting on another forum about how amazing this strip was. Keep up the good work!

If Thog is dead, it just gives Roy and Thog one more opposite: Roy died by a long fall to the ground, and Thog died by a long fall from the ground.

Great strip! Perhaps Roy was provoking Thog into Charging or using Bull Rush rather than just attack with fists?

Ultimately T gets what he wants, which is to send Elan on his way, most likely with his companions who have survived the ambush. But to get there, we still have ...

Nale has to flee; but if not, doesn't it all depend on what provision Nale made for Durkon? If Nale neutralizes D with a handy magic item, then Elan can be held hostage ... giving Maleck the chance to go all Bruce Willis on Nale.

There is a mechanical advantage. An untrained Knowledge skill check only allows for common knowledge (DC 10). Even one rank with no Int bonus allows a 10% chance of hitting a DC of 20.
