It was pretty cheap actually. $13 USD with shipping. Though, I do need to move the drill to a different necklace. It's way too tight on me.

    Amazon is your friend.

    EDIT:

Damn French, damn it. For some reason it wasn't on my Report Card and I thought I had a 3.9 (93.6) accume. Now ythat it's been factored in, I have a 3.6~ (92.1) which is ... way to close to the NHS cutoff line for comfort.

Yesterday my second period started, and with it my first Uni programming course: Program Constructions and Data Structures I. We'll be programming in ML, a Functional programming language that basically no one at my age knows, just to put us all at the same level and give them a spring board from which to teach us programming. I'm looking forward to this.

    ION:
With its better food collection algorithm, my bot has proven itself to at least be able to thrive in the beginners games. I've reimplemented a restricted version of a anthill attack algorithm from the tutorial that I left out earlier to avoid suicidal behaviour early in the game. Haven't seen it in action yet, however.

I'm currently working on a pathing algorithm for my ants. The algorithm that comes with the tutorial is atrocious and keeps getting my ants stuck behind walls and corners, especially on the more labyrinthine maps. I'm working out from the A* algorithm, which is supposedly both adequately fast and accurate, and tries to do it as elegantly as possible. It's a suitable challenge.

Thanks! I was pretty depressed about the A- at first, since I used to never get the low, but I realized that A- in AP English is pretty good for someone who didn't know what a noun was at the start of the year.

Where you go to school, is there any practical difference between an A and an A- long term, or do you just really prefer mid to high A's?

Prefer, and I hold myself to the standard that I probably shouldn't be doing worse than when I was when in full depression and headmistress-ordered teachers were picking on me the whole time than when I'm doing just fine.

It's been overclouded and rainy for the last few weeks here.
Fall arrived late, usually it's like this from mid-september on to early november, after which the Half-Winter arrives, which is mostly scathing wind and super-low temperatures, but no snow. However, the Fall weather didn't arrive until mid-october...

    Grades...

I don't think especially much about my grades. At least note more than twice. To me, they're certificates on how much I've learned, and because learning is important to me, I get good grades. If I get "bad" grades (relatively speaking), I get dissappointed because I hadn't learned as much as I wanted, but after I've learned from them how much I need to work and study next time, I usually leave them behind me.

Given, I've always known that I'll be able to continue the path I'm walking on with the grades I'll get, so I can afford a relaxed attitude, but I find it to be healthy nevertheless. I am, however, well aware that with my endless thirst and love for knowledge, I'm a member of a rather small minority in this world, so I can understand that it's not as easy or stressless for everyone.

    this might be a problem.

I still don't have all my research for the fabric industry in Russia in the 19th century, but I have tons of research on the ironworking industry in Russia in the 18th to early 19th century, and ideally I want to compare the two industries...
