My thoughts on the chapter.

This chapter was really easy. Except for the boss I didn't fight. There were a few turns I couldn't attack I was killing the foes so fast.

And this chapter has several the first of many. First A support. First promotion, and Hector and Florina are supporting with each other. I'm not a fan of the pairing, but....

Erk's first level up was bad, but I do like the magic gain.

Canas's first level up was okay. I'm starting to get worried about the lack of speed. Even with him having the Speed wing.

Florina's first level up was okay.

Kent's first level up was bad. I'm starting to think he's the first to bench if we get a unit we like.

Lyn's first level up was good. She needs it.

Oswin's first level up was bad. But the extra tankiness is nice.

Matthew's first level up is bad. I can't wait for Legualt.

Remember, Luna will hurt his AS, and if you're not using Luna, then you're doing something very wrong. Canas wants speed, or at least a way to reduce Luna's AS penalty.

Reminds me when I first got the game and didn't know CON did anything other than make you harder to rescue, lead me to sell every body ring I found. In this game though, I almost always give one to Florina, since her AS gets penalized by anything heavier than a slim lance.

Dart


Dart is our pirate and another chance to not get a sucky axe-user. Dart has high strength and speed growths, and thus a very glass cannon build. He caps Strength on average, and comes close to capping Speed and Defense.

Fiora


Fiora is our second pegasus knight and has to compete with Florina for the flier spot on the team. Fiora has less speed but caps it on average anyway. Fiora also has less Strength, and less Luck, but more Defense and resistance. However I will probably continue to use Florina, as she has not been RNG screwed.

My thoughts on the chapter

This chapter went a lot easier then it usually does for me. The only difficult part was when I had to go toe-to-toe with Uhai. And even then Serra probably could have handled it given enough time. I was amused at the beginning about Serra's ability to front line. Thanks to good dodge, and surprising defense for a magic unit. Lyn's new support means she is locked into Kent, Florina, or Lyn. Everyone who's voted for someone else, should vote for one of these three.

Serra's first level up was excellent.

Hector's first level up was okay.

Dart's first level up was a typical Dart level up.

Guy's first level up was okay.

Erk's first level up was okay.
Due to Erk's level gain. I will evaluate him again. Erk has below average Magic, Skill, and Defense. With above average Hp and Resistance. At this point though, he's only on the team until Pent comes.

Canas's first level up was crap.

Next chapter I have to seize the gate, and slay Kishuna. (I have every intention of using save states and RNG abuse to kill Kishuna in one turn.) I can bring 12 characters, I'm thinking of bringing Hector, Eliwood, Lyn, Oswin, Matthew, Guy, Serra, Erk, Canas, Florina, Rebecca, Dart.

I'd support giving Dart both the Statue and Book, given my limited knowledge of Axe wielders need more Skill than others to make up for accuracy issues that axes tend to have. Also getting him up out of mook crit range would be an excellent move if he's to stay in the band as the resident axe wielder (besides Hector, of course). I'm sure Serra will have a comment about him using the Statue, of course.
