The Eldritch Knight was making a bid for power amidst the chaos, claiming that his actions would provide him leverage for later. Leverage for what exactly? the Disciple wondered...

Lex Kat was not going to make killing her easy.

The town had chased her half the morning, from when she ran out of the back of her home through the woods, back through town, and several other locations not worth mentioning here!

Several of the town was tired, panting, or just bored. Count Dingdong insisted they stop. "We have Eldritch Knight right here, he's definitely maybe a werewolf. Why don't we just lynch him and leave Lex for another day?"

But C'Nor just gritted his teeth, still leading the chase. "I'll never give up. This is exactly how Lex Kat would act were she a werewolf."

"Or how Lex-Kat would act were she being chased by an angry mob out to kill her."

"Never mind that now."

Luckily Lex Kat used the short break to escape. Talk about anticlimactic.

Lex Kat left! She was a Villager!

The wolves attacked almost as soon as night had fallen.

They clawed at the door, dug at the ground, intent on sniffing out The Grimmace who kept ready within. His face was locked with... well, a grimace. The snarling and howling was getting worse and he knew no help would come this night, not with everyone else locked so safely in their homes.

The wood was splintering, and the Grimmace was letting even his mysterious nature crack as desperate plans swam through his mind. That's when the insane ploy carried forth from deep within his subconscious. 'They can't catch me if I'm on fire!'

The next morning, a trail of ashes leading to a charred skeleton was found near his home.

The Grimmace was killed! He was a Villager!
