"For Master." Sasha says, knowing the answer but choosing not to give it.

"I have a helper." Vo readjusted herself for a longer conversation. "He's sort of lazy and goes off on his own a lot, though. What kind of person is your master?" By the witch's casual tone for this whole thing, she seemed to be totally on-board with any kind of morally gray shenanigans.

[Reinholdt]

"He's..." MHF leans forward a little. Like she wants to say something.
But she stands back straight and replies instead. "What's a person?"

[Siena]

"...Uh." Er. "Um..." Hm.
"...What's your master like?" Question rephrased!

"He's..." All the same motions from before. "nice." She says.

No, not really. But every once in a while, he'll be nice, usually after Sasha does something right and Sasha lives heart and soul for those moments.

[Siena]

"That's good," Vo said, thinking about Sasha's body language. "Can I meet him?"

[Reinholdt]

Sasha tilts her head a bit in confusion. This was not the usual subject. Subjects usually are drunk or weak or passed out. Admittedly, there were others...

"If you wish..." Sasha says. The corner suddenly grows much darker and Sasha seems to glide back into the wall. Or into the shadows of the wall to be more specific. Either way, she disappears into the inky blackness like a coin dropped in a well.

After she leaves, the corner stays that particular foreboding dark, waiting for Vo to follow.

[Siena]

"...Okay." Vo snapped her gloved fingers and her two valuables - her hat with it's pin and her fan - disappeared in some purple smoke. Once they were safe in her room, the witch stood and wandered into the ominous... whatever it was.
Subjects as in followers was either not a thing here or done with force. Finding out should be fun~

Naku manages a face-palm, and then, with a sigh, heads back into her inn.

He pulls out a notebook and flips through it finding a page filled with graphs and mathematical equations scribbled in it. He pulls out a pencil and starts to add and change notes.

Songdancer walked back into the inn, walking back up the stairs and says to Naku as he passes:
"Talk to me in private when you have time. I need to talk to you."

Nort looks up as if he is surprised to be asked if he wants something. It takes him a few seconds to remember that he walked into a tavern. He takes another few seconds to quickly scan the menu before ordering. "Can I get the Salmon and Apple Cider?" He says scratching the back of his neck.

Naku nods once, slips a note to the kitchen to get some Salmon out here, and quickly fills a cider for him.
"Here you go, the fish'll be out soon, but apparently I need to take off for juuuust a few minutes. Is that all right?" She asks mostly to be polite.

[McBish]

Nort nods taking a sip of his cider. "Yes of course, feel free." He will then go back to making notes in his notebook.

[Reinholdt]

Sasha returns here with Vo in that dark corner over there via shadow portal. Yay for creepy yet effective transportation methods.

[Siena]

Vo thanked Sasha as she stepped out. Unless stopped, the witch immediately went to her room for a bit.

Sasha doesn't stop her. She goes back to staring creepily from the corner.
I hope Vo doesn't breathe through her nose when she sleeps though. That's got to be the worst snoring ever. If she sleeps at all that is.

Naku, with one last 'I'll be back soon, thanks' nod to Nort, heads upstairs to 'Dancer's room, and just heads on in.
Knocking is for polite people.

"Hey! I've been wondering...are we going to get married?"

There is, however, an odd, faint, somewhat old seeming line of jagged scarring across the knuckles of her left hand.

"Cut off. Gone. Trodden underfoot somewhere back home." Naku says, shrugging slightly. "He," strange emphasis she put on that word, "decided that I shouldn't be allowed anything without His permission."

Songdancer looks rather sad.
That ring was really difficult for him to make in the first place...

". . . That's it? You're more concerned about . . . about him than me?" Naku said, tone giving away her frustration and worries and the things she tried to keep inside. "About a stupid ring? It's just a ring! I'm hum . . . well, I'm here, anyway. But no, no! You can't just, I don't know, be glad that I'm back or, God forbid, that I survived." The room darkened and the Vampire's eyes began to look flooded red. Her body tensed.
"For Jigoku's sake, at least he notices me. I mean something!" It wasn't long before her eyes also had tears pouring out of them.
". . . a ring, it's just a damn yubiwa, it doesn't mean anything! And neither do you. I mean, where do you get off, ordering around my employees and trying to rule over my Yado? It's like you want this place more than you want me!"

[Mindfreak]

Songdancer looks down at his hooves for a moment before very quietly speaking.
"I am glad that you're back. I'm glad that you survived. I'm glad that I don't have to worry for your safety, because I know that you can take care of yourself."
His horn began to glow dimly.
"And you have absolutely no idea how much you mean to me."
He lifted his head up at her, revealing that he was crying.
"That ring was important because besides that, I only had one other thing to give you. And that was myself. It's a poor gift. Especially when you deserve more."
He buried his face in his hooves as his horn glowed brightly.
"So I'm sorry. Okay? I'm sorry!"
And then he teleports outside of the inn where he proceeds to run away.
Songdancer never was good at conflicts.
