I was so good at it as a teenager, and then I made all the wrong choices...

Sadly, my territories would be mooseless. Moose have never been wont to wander towards the more southerly regions of my homeland, and what few we had in our northernmost regions were driven even closer to the Arctic by the unreasonably tepid winter of last year.

As to sitting on shoulders and partaking of ear nibbles, rest assured that these do naught but inspire further reverence. Your people could rest upon the shoulder of a king and honor him with your presence, being not afraid to bite that royal lobe which your lessers would be slain for looking upon with harsh eyes. In honesty, should I breach a treaty with so noble a race, then may all of those serendipitously discovered threats be carried out upon my person, and my body be left for carrion.

You can get quite far just by learning how to simplify a problem. In everyday mathematics, you can usually let yourself be off by a few digits without anyone caring all too much (this doesn't extend itself to the tax return, but you get the idea). Given, I strive toward exactness even when head counting, but that's more out of pride than neccessity.

Hrm... I think I am the only person to have gone outside and grilled some hamburgers in November. Those of you in less temperate climates may not be impressed by the 40 degree (that's Fahrenheit; I suppose it's around 10 Celcius) weather, but I actually put on a long sleeved shirt for it, so I suppose that means I think it's cold (despite it being, what, early spring weather for you Canadians?).

I have also reminded myself that grilling in the dark equals overly-well done burgers.

Well, that's about as cold as we've been getting it up here, but it probably wouldn't turn too many heads if someone was out grilling - I know a few folks who don't start wearing socks until there's at least an inch of snow on the ground! But hey, good for you for defying the (relative) cold!

Snow has sprinkled fleece-like again here; and again, it will melt in the next few days. The dance of November begins, and by another week or two, the permanent bastion of winter's whiteness will have laid its foundation and we shall not see grass again until March or April.

After over a week of waiting, my Grandma's orchid has finally opened finished flowering. Such a gentle flower to take so long to open, but it does not mesh well with my desire to share it with others.
It was worth waiting.

The uniformity of the gray sky, not all too unlike the blanket of a much reviled institution, serves as an example of the true meaning of infinity, and it's only further enhanced by the conquests of Night's cold embrace.

Freezing rain and chilling gusts seeps the cold into your bones with an efficiency a blizzard would envy, and you gaze longingly toward the wardrobe with our human substitues to fur and blubber, but alas, any attempts at shielding yourself are punished thoroughly through stagnant ventilation and thermal reflection. If only it was a few degrees colder, you hear yourself say, but your wishes go unheard agains the endless walls of nothingness, aptly painted in the single hue of gray. (End spoken with a tongue of bitter poison.)

Algorithms are easy, just do as they say and you're done. Formulating an algorithm to solve a problem is trickier, but since you always should start simple, still manageable. Combinatorics is just the lowest tiers of mathematics reapplied in excess.

I'd say I channeled the spirit of an ancestor, but I'm not sure I even have any English blood in my veins. That said, I've been studying English since second grade, so I suppose my skill should be at least somewhat justified.
