I just had this problem too. Just right click near the bottom of the image and click "view image" in the menu that appears (at least, I presume it would be called that even outside Firefox, but whatever browser you have, there's always going to be an option like that), and you get to the comic full-sized.

I've had a problem sort of like that, but only the first time I click the links. The second time, they work fine.

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
I too am having issues viewing the old comics. It seems that I am being redirected to the photobucket page for the images.
However, I can not do as Crystalwind suggested, as I am using an iPod touch to read the comic, and have no way to view the picture alone.
This is where I am redirected when I try to go to the first page: http://m909.photobucket.com/albumvie...png.html?o=253Jon Snow and Ghost avatar (not currently in use) by Gurgleflep 15370262 328.

Hey, glad to see this thing is still churning on. It's been a while since I was here, but at least one thing has remained. ;P
How much of this did you have planned out from that first 'fan service' comic anyway?I don't mean to brag - it just sort of happens.

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
I suspect the problem is that you're using the link to the comic in your album, not the direct link for that image. The screen that I get from that latest comic link doesn't let me zoom in properly. If I click on "Direct Link" down to the bottom right, I get this which works properly.

That was... Gah. "Free love is fun! That justifies whatever she did, even though I know that Janine has legitimate problems!" Liking sex and being Janine are very very different creatures.

Unicorn hunting license? ROFLMAO.
It certainly does explain Radic's reaction, though. Also, its nice to see Janine's problem finally being addressed.
EDIT: Hey, this was mentioned before in the last panel of this comic. And probably a few other times as well, I should re-read this.Last edited by Randomguy; 2013-03-04 at 10:45 PM.

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
Radic stepping down so easily to that argument just irks me, but that's because I would not take arguments given by a bleeding halfelf with jagged bits of metal in her back on something that "feels good" being good seriously.
They weren't about how sex is wrong, though. They were very angry statements on how Janine had slept with Radic's brother for little to no reason other than he was available, even if not initially willing. I don't even know how Serrin got the idea that Radic was denouncing sex, because I didn't read that. She didn't say anything about how sex was wrong, she said that Janine was "looser than rotten rope" and a slut, because she fits those descriptors pretty well. She isn't a flipped copper piece from a whore because the copper piece isn't even necessary. None of it was a condemnation of sex as recreation, it was objecting to Janine sleeping with anyone she feels the need to so that she can satisfy her own ego and sate her insecurities, objections or intentions of the other party be damned.
Serrin then came in and defended Janine with a Free Love argument, even though that is completely different than what Janine does. I think Radic was terrible cruel, and that those words had no need to be said. But "What other reason could you possibly need" does not justify Janine and I don't know how it could shut down Radic so easily. She didn't show any unreasonableness when it comes to sexuality, she just got very angry when she found out that Janine took advantage of her brother so she could feel better about herself. "Love and sex don't work like that" does not imply that Radic somehow doesn't know that sex is fun, and I don't see how being told that sex is fun could be a mind changing statement.

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
That was a very good analysis, Mutant Sheep.
You're right. That's what Radic's condemnation was. But Serrin didn't hear that. All she witnessed was Radic calling Janine a slut, and Janine running out of the room crying. She didn't observe anything else. Radic backed down because she realized that she went a bit too far with what she said.My webcomic!

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
Wow. That was really mature of Radic, admitting that she had been too harsh mere minutes after she had gone over the edge. I'm impressed with her, and if I were in that situation and I got angry over that, I wouldn't be able to calm down and fess up that fast.

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
This is probably why I got so worked up. Radic is taking responsibility and avoiding conflict by not exasperating the issue. I would get more angry if an elf came in bleeding and started berating me over my angry reaction to information like that. But I have never liked the "it feels good, so it cant be wrong to do" argument, and in this case it doesn't even work because of widely divergent circumstances! I would be angrily defending myself (and probably insulting Serrin for jumping to the wrong conclusion and then yelling at me) instead of calming down and seeing how being an angry yelling lunatic doesn't help my case.

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
@Crystalwind & Mutant Sheep: If you have enough experience at it, you can eventually see when you've flown off the handle on something and catch it before you do something really stupid.
It takes practice though xD I'm guessing Radic has seen plenty of stress in her life. +1 to Serrin.
There are so many good metaphors for a unicorn hunting license - perhaps hunting for a mythical creature (your being of desire), or because you're just too busy doing other stuff. Some of my friends would acknowledge that I've asked them "What's so great about sex anyway?" xD

Re: Murphy's Law 9: Contents Under Pressure
Hmm, yes, I agree with many points here. Radic's reaction...I don't know. It does not entirely not-make-sense (sorry for the confusing negations), but she seems to be able to calm down very quickly, after getting so worked up just a moment ago.
Then again, may it's just the whole sex discussion that bugs me. Probably an entirely personal thing, I've too often heard those arguments Serrin's making used in a very annoying way, so well...
Also, the photobucket thing is annoying Someone there hasn't thought things through properly before making changes..Alamryn Kven, a druid who tries very hard not to be useless.

Radic's always been pretty level-headed, which is why it didn't take much for her to realize she went off the handle and needed to apologize.
I think Serrin's main philosophy is, "Does it feel good? Do you want to do it? Does it not hurt anybody? Then what's holding you back?"My webcomic!
