Not sure what her game is either but...I dunno why but to me it sounds like she thinks Elliot came out of the closet and Sarah had up to that point been a 'cover' girlfriend. But I dunno how likely that theory is.

I don't know. He's very self-effacing. Since he doesn't want to think his martial arts make him special, the logical conclusion is that being able to parkour because of them also doesn't make him special. His problems is that while it is true that's not what makes him special, special is not the same as notorious.

I would like to see the rumour chain. Somehow, I suspect that the idea that Elliot is gay was (maliciously?) implanted by Baldy. This might be the "move" (s)he was talking about.

That would actually be fairly interesting, by baldy do you mean the silhouetted figure here? I still think there is a decent chance the girl from panel four spread it around. She has been more active in the comic recently (And by that I mean she appeared on panel and was referenced once )

Yes, sorry, I should've been more clear. FWLIW, I nicknamed him baldy here, although the more I think about it, the more I'm unwilling to assign a permanent gender to the silhouette (males are more likely to shave their heads, though).

Nope. Justin's not exactly looking for love there, and judging from the last time we saw said co-worker (post-New and Old Flames, IIRC) there's probably a layer of awkwardness over his interactions with Justin that gets in the way.

I like this page a lot, though. We get to see the unspoken biases of both Sarah and Susan, where one sees an explanation to her break up and the other one sees a threat to her possible future relationship. We also get to see Catilina's bias in her interpretation of the video clip, in that she read so much of the rumor into it that she ignored that it was not in fact brought up at all. And lastly, we get to see Susan flail about. I can dig all those three.

Eh, my gut is telling me it's more likely to be Crazy Random Person. Her 'what if it was because he realised...' in that comic and 'You have a good heart.' later fit with the 'Elliot is gay and his ex-girlfriend is being understanding' rumour.

Then again, my intestinal tract has been wrong on more than one occasion before.
