Not requesting anything, just wondering, what program do u use to make avvies? Painter?

In honour of a new campaign I need a warforged with some rather special qualities, Specs:

Quite tall
Warforged
In the middle of his chest he has something resembling a door with a single drop of water coming out the corner.
Every thing else is up to you

Gender - Male
Equipment - Plainclothes, a sword in hand, swirly magic stuff in the other hand
Hair color - Redhead, shortish hair
Race - Human
Pose - slumped shoulders, not very happy

If you've read the book, I'm basing this avatar off of Harrier Gillain.

At the end of the book, Harrier becomes a Knight-Mage, meaning he's excellent with sword and spell.

Because of these turn of events listed in the spoiler above, Harrier's reluctant to accept this fate, thus the unhappy pose.

My avatar idea is Walker Boh, a druid from the Shannara series.

Gender - Male
Equipment - Hard to describe, haven't read the Shannara books in a while. I'd say a green cloak, with grey robes underneath.

Walker doesn't have a left arm from the shoulder down.
Somewhat pale skin.
Black hair, dark eyes.

nah, most people use either inkscape = free program you can download that everyone loves
or adobe photoshop = awesome

I personally use Micromedia flash 8 = kick*** as my vector program (don't ask why)

Looking for a banner as described below.

A male druid
an animal, wolf or bear or something that is fierce.

Male Druid's has graying hair and a beard, and is human. He's holding up some sort of weapon (pot, chair or something similar) against his animal companion. Also holding up one of his hands threateningly. Druid should be saying "Back! Don't make me cast Reduce Animal. Should be some sort of camp sent up (fire, tent, chair or something) with some type of wilderness background.

Animal companion is growling at the druid, looking ready to pounce. Should be size large.

Quote on the left or up top or somewhere.

"Where a Druid's animal companion is feared more than the Druid himself."

No. This is/was a common misconception, but hardly anyone ever uses Photoshop for drawing avatars. If you make your way over to the OotS Extras section and go to Fanart, the very first image you see by me on the top left was made in Photoshop. Compare the avatar I just made, in Adobe Illustrator, which is probably the program you are thinking of, and which is the program that Rich Burlew the Giant in the Playground uses(used?) for creating Order of the Stick.

This is less of an avatar request and more of a logo request. On the gaming forums we're designing a video game, and we need some religious symbols to be drawn. We need one "original" religious symbol for a church that is kind of like the Catholic church. The church splits in two in the game later on, into an extremely strict side and an extremely lax side. Make a variation of the original symbol for each side.

I really like the Kingpin Fullbladder so I based sizes/dimensions off of that (a part of me wants to redo your current avie in the same style, but won't do it). Use them if you like them, ask for changes, ask for a new artist if you need to .

And yeah, not sure I like the radio thing, if you have a different icon I could probably give you a better implementation.

Hmmm... yeah, I'm not sure about the radio thing, either. But, dammit, it's one of the few old-time radios you'll find via a google search. Here's a slightly better one, though. Also, could the goatee on the paladinny one take a bit more of a.... Nale-ish quality? You know, the little tiny beard-thing on the chin.

A bit less of an 'I'm evil' expression might also help. Y'know what I mean?

Glad you like the Prof. I actually was very pleased with his "bardcode" balding hair.

Am I closer with Pali-bladder? Not sure how to get a glare and a smile and not look evil. Much happier with this radio, but not sure if you like the antenae, can cut it easily enough.

(note, I changed the glow on his sword. I kept the old layer, so if you like the plain glow instead of this firey one just let me know.)

Got this idea for an avatar:

A noble is standing up, sitting down, or something, and right behind him is an assassin who is going to kill him in just a few moments, maybe ready to plant a dagger in the back of the person, maybe holding a knife towards his throat, whatever.

The assassin should be the focus of the picture, the victim is just another that the assassin need to kill. He should look dark and sneaky, like someone who could slip into the shadows afterwards without any seeing him (yeah, I know, a cliche, but why not?). The expression on the assassin's face should be "just another kill".

The victim don't know of the assassin. He should just do something random, like reading a book. He should look like a noble, a minor or major one, that's up to you. He should not expect anything.

Oooo, lovely. Yeah, I think the antennae can be cut. It's obviously a radio, and they just seem to get in the way, somehow. Nice flame-glow.
