Ironically she is using it for the purpose Doctor Who was first meant to be about: an educational show using the TARDIS as a vehicle to teach by actually going there. Doctor Who just went real off the rails from there, and people liked the off the rails version much better ever since.

Heh, I have no idea, it honestly wouldnt surprise me in the slightest. Though he is far more likely to keep his mementos in the bat cave so he can see it every day and be reminded of why he is doing this. Right next to the giant penny. Seriously, how the hell did he get that into his bat cave?

Not with the belt that I know of, but he does keep his mother's pearls, and they do come up in stories from time to time.

Also Batman has had many chances to save his parents. He chose not to do so because of the damage it would cause to everything else.

I'd say he loses to Iron Man, but will make Batman work for it. Scrooge doesn't have a counter for the Iron Man armors. You need Donald Duck for that. Him, I'd put at "gives Iron Man a fight" level.

I wonder if they're going to do the math for swimming in coins for an upper-limit on Scrooge's strength. Or of tearing a steam boat in half with his bare hand is the bigger feat. Also... I wonder how many of Scrooge's treasures he'll bring. The Universal Solvent would be trouble for anyone.

Yeah, it was okayish up until then, but then it gets ridiculous. They could have just had the helicopter a bit closer.

Also, Lara was probably good enough to hit Nathan with one of her weapons at that range, but they had to include blowing up a helicopter.

EDIT: a straight up battle between Harry and John would be hilariously one sided in favour of Dresden, but a snark battle would be fun. I wouldn't mind something between Dresden and DC Grant, because Grant has shown a strange tendency to survive powerful beings in the same way that Dresden has.

This is the best way to lose their viewers. Most people think that Dresden is a city in Germany, and Constantine is a Roman Emperor. The name recognition power of MLP or Scrooge McDuck gets them eyeballs, which equal money and brand growth. Obscure nobodies might titillate you, but it's a losing move from a business standpoint.

Quite frankly, though I have only read the first DF book and don't know much about Harry beyond that, John would probably lose in a straight magic fight. John is not particularly powerful by any standard. Even the versions where he uses a lot of magic he doesn't really do a lot of powerful magic. What he does brilliantly is trick people. There's a reason he's also known as ConJob. He knows a lot of the rules of magic, and he knows most of the the players and most importantly, he plays the players, not the game. He knows how to get information and he knows how to use it.
The reason the Devil hates him more than Jesus isn't because John bested him in a magic duel.

Honestly, it all felt a little bit lame to me. I pretty much called the winner as soon as they covered planning ability. Though I wasnt expecting the ending, I was more expecting one final trap or trick to get the win to show laura planned ahead. Also, anyone else find it amusing that they can each shove around square blocks that weigh 20 tons and yet show signs of exertion when pulling themselves up after a near fall? Its like watching a world deadlifting champion visibly exert himself to lift some packing foam.

Yeah. That battle was a mess. The intro-scene was painful to watch and logically should've ended with Lara gunning down Drake the moment he reached for his gun. She says the grail goes with her, yet the moment the grail goes off it's platform, she speaks as if she knows it'd trigger a trap. Also she blames Nathan even though it was one of her bullets that shot it off the platform. During the car scene, she beats Nathan up, but then decides to pull out her bow and nock an arrow instead of just shooting him when she's got him on the ropes... and then she decides "nah" and jumps off the car instead. They also completely failed to show off Nathan's incredible luck. They didn't even acknowledge it in the intro. And this is yet another episode that suffers under the constraint of "loser must die horribly". I know it's a "death battle", but Lara had won long before Nathan actually died. Making this into a fight over who could get the treasure, rather than who could horribly murder the other would've been way more interesting.

Then again, that'd require them being able to write at an above 5th grader level.

Yeah im not going to bother with spoilers by this point. I fully agree with the start. I seriously said it out loud. "Why didnt laura shoot him while he casually and slowly pulled out an assault rifle?!" The thing is, I knew it was mainly because by death battle law both sides have to show off their relatively complete skill set just to show how they match up. It was still dumb, and god yes the arrow thing was stupid. I was rolling my eyes as he took off in the coptor because it was so absurdly obvious what was about to happen then yep, it happened. All in all, disappointing.
