According to Races of the Wild, and indeed many other sources, Halflings are usually described as nomads. Halflings that do set roots generally move once again after a year or so.

Also, my stats are probably going to help out.

Right now, I'm a Phrenic Time Lord currently in the form of an anthromorphic penguin. My classes are Jedi/Factotum/Chameleon. The psionic ability is from the Chameleon class, its a house rule that lets psionic creatures with levels in chameleon choose psionics as one of my aptitude focuses. The other is Divine focus, if you haven't figured out.


EDIT: For those of you wondering, Chameleon is from Races of destiny. Its also know as the only good thing that came out of that book. Not really true, but its close. RoD was the worst of the races book. Except my Races of Faeurun, which I don't have, so I'm in no shape to interview.

Apearance was copied and pasted, but I've been looking for an excuse to bring in a Trench coat. The Hat predates my ever hearing of Mechafox. I think he and I aren't the only ones who've thought of it, also. I think my idea was based on a hat that produced rabits 3 times a day from a "Silly Magic Items" Thread on the Wizards of the Coast forums.


Next Bayar will be beating on me for being a tech-head. At least I doubt Boomwolf can blame the powergamer element.

I swear, all these elements where part of my charecter long before I knew anything about avatar battle royale besides the title and it having banners in several regular's signiture. I'm not kidding. I can attest for this. Well, I admit to the copying of Kpenguin's apearance, but that was just, again, to get the Trenchcoat. After The last few episodes of Doctor Who and Torchwood, I've had a bit of a Trenchcoat obsession. I think reading Antihero for Hire didn't help.

you need to set the dimensions to the width and hight of the avatar to avoid warping

EDIT: Also, I'll be tweaking my apearance in the next comic, so as to placate everyone about the ripping off of the template I made for Kpenguin.


Mainly this means changing my beak, and giving KP normal feet.



EDIT2: Could someone give me a quick lesson in how to find out how many pixels my avatar takes up? I'd like to make my new appearance into an avatar.

Just open a 117x117 window in Inkscape - or whatever program you're using - and either draw you character again in it, or copy/paste it and adjust it to the window.

And by the way, I don't think changing KP's image in your comic counts as a very legitimate way to make him look less like your character...
But that's just my opinion.

Probably for the same reason he needed to in the first place. Not because he needed to be covert or anything, but because he has a habit of saying the absolute wrong thing at the absolute worst moment. By saying only his name for most of the time (Let's say...75%), the chance of his mishap speech impediment occuring is down to 25%
