I don't get it. Maybe if speech bubbles conveyed tone, they would work better... *eyes glaze over*

Re: Anti-Heroes
Wow, that comic gave me the best mental image ever
Keriss, in a very "shoop da woop" style "IMA FIREIN' MAH GUILT RAY"
Followed by Aldran striking a pheonix wright "OBJECTION!"
Great comic Zarah

"I fire the Guilt Ray..."
"Okay..."
"I rolled a one..."
"Critical miss, the Guilt beam goes completely off course, passes through the shell of a floating, metal, planet sized weapon, and hits a cyborg. The cyborg then realizes the error of his ways and teams up with his son to throw the emporer down a two mile shaft...
"..."
"Ugh, fine, you get thirty quest exp. for winning the wrong campaign..."

from a tiefling it must be OVER 9000!!!
great comic as always zarah.
Poor naive Kaal.Well THAT changes the equation considerably, I haven't worked out all the math yet, but I can estimate the answer as, "You're Screwed".

Re: Anti-Heroes
Superb as always
The simplest explanations are quite often the most valid ones...I'm not sure which buying a ship used as a murder scene at an auction and refitting it into an airship qualifies as though...Last edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2008-03-16 at 04:22 PM.

Re: Anti-Heroes
What if it was Aldran who was the wizard. He did say that for all purposes he was dead. Maybe he had a contingent teleport/resurrection set for 5 days after died?

Re: Anti-Heroes
I get the impression that Aldran is said Wizard, too, or at least he knew him. How else could he recognize the woodworking?
Also, that explanation is good, but that doesn't make it rightLast edited by Zordrath; 2008-03-16 at 06:53 PM.

Re: Anti-Heroes
If Aldran was the wizard, then who is that auto-pilot guy? Mabye he was the wizard, or mabye Aldran is a lich.l It would explain why he is so powerful. I mean, he could block a GUILT-RAY! Thats power.

Re: Anti-Heroes
I smell a lie!
It smells somewhat like Tacos!
Or maybe an old cookbook that you find on the top shelf but you don't remember buying it so you assume that it belonged to the previous owner which is an assumption that is partially correct due to the fact that it is quite old but you bought it at a yard sale from the creepy cat lady down the street at a very affordable price so you decided to try to get to know her and it turns out that she's really nice and that she was some famous lady on TV forty-someodd years ago and then you get into this wacky adventure in order to keep her house in her possesion for some reason and you save her house and live happily ever after until you find this cookbook and remember the old lady so you go visit her and she gives you cookies and you remark that the cookbook you bought from her smells like a lie an airship captain told to some robed guy in a webcomic written by a goat.
That... That's an oddly specific smell...
And a run-on sentence...

Re: Anti-Heroes
an obvious lie. and while typing this thread i got an idea!
THE CAPTIAN KILLED THE WIZARD!
think about it, even if Aldran was there to witness the wizards death this "captain" obviously has a diffrent form...
(as a friend of mine would say "dun dun DUN!!!!)78% of DM's started their first campaign in a place other than a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature. Were a minority here, people.

Re: Anti-Heroes
I'm a lurker that enjoys reading Anti-HEROES, although I'm a bit sad due to the lull in the updates. I drew this picture of Keriss a while ago. It's not a particularly good drawing (I can see plenty that can be improved and changed), but I feel I should post it.
I believe it is considered fan art?
