Truly a pity. But at least we need not fear being led astray by his sincere but unfactual counsel. Iames goes to bed.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
Keris glanced at his pocketwatch, then looks back to Mordokai's character.
"I'm sorry, but I have to return to HQ now. It seems my fellow Alchemists have made a terrible mistake. Perhaps we will continue our conversation tomorrow."
Keris heads back through the streets, keeping an eye out for the Spawn Siblings.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
Figuring out she has probably been a little rude, the girl blushes and runs after the older alchemist.
"I'd prefer not to stay outside alone. By the way, my name is Celia and I'm Nature Blade Alchemist. I appologize for my rudeness from before, but those two spawn sibling just totally wrecked my nerves."
With that, Celia heads back to her room.Adrie, half elven bard. Drawing by Vulion, avatar by CheesePirate. Colored version by Callos_DeTerran. Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
"The homonculi probably won't attack two Alchemists together, but I advise you stay away from warehouse 13!" Keris winks at Celia before continuing,
"Nature Blade, eh? I'm guessing plants, never heard of someone specialising in that field before. As to the 'Spawn', I bet they're harmless, no Homonculi would be that flamboyant. That said..."

The hooded figure moves over to Lujon's corpse. Wordlessly, he picks it up and throws it over his shoulder, hauling it out somewhere to be buried.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
Night ends!!!
Tonight, nobody's resting. The Alchemists are all trying to stay alert, listening carefully to the noise of the night, hoping to get a clue, something that will lead them to finally finding and destroying the Homunculi, as well as their creator.
A young alchemist is wandering near a dark alley, a girl with dark hair, attracted by a shadow she saw running suspiciously. As soon as she arrived to the alley, she could hear some voices:
"Our plan is going as planned. Just don't let your guards down!! As soon as we can get rid of those State Alchemists, they are as good as dead. And then we will achieve that what we want!!!
It took her no time to realize she was listening to the homunculi planning. "If I could get a glimpse of them... I could get help tomorrow and this would be over soon!"
She moved silently, trying to get closer, trying to recognize a voice, or see anything that she could remember later.
However, the luck was not on her side. Accidentally, she kicked a can, which made enough noise to alert the Homunculi. It all happened in a matter of fractions of second. The next thing the girl knew, she couldn't move her feet. The earth had risen around them. And next, she was nailed to the wall.
"My, my, what a naughty girl you are. Don't you know it's not polite to listen to other people's conversations?"
"You won't succeed, you... monster!"
"Can't you see? We already have! You will be part of our success!!"
Another claw went through his skull and the next moment, the girl was already dead.
Summary: Mordokai was killed by the Homunculi, he was an Alchemist.
Day starts now and will end in roughly 48 hours. PMs with the Alchemist's points totals will be sent throughout the day.So I herd you liek Mudkipz by Mr. Saturn

((^ I agree. Now who am I meant to RP with?))
Keris walks out into the cold morning air, prepared for the worst. Or so he thought:
"What the...? Celia? No! Why?!" Keris glowers at crowd around him,
"When I find out which of you is responsible for this, I will personally take you down. For now, I'll settle for Fleeing Coward."

A ghostly voice floats by on the breeze.
The Homunculi must be stopped. Destroy them. No mercy! Kill them all!
The air then goes silent.Last edited by The Bushranger; 2008-01-30 at 09:04 AM.

Fleeing Coward, your actions have aroused suspicion. You have shown yourself to be an enemy of the Alchemists, and quite possibly shown your true colors.

Fleeing Coward? Ha! I haghly doubt this young boy is one of these foul excuses for a human being! I did say he is clearly mad and should most definitely be locked for his own safety. Yes, yes, this is the best to do.
The aged man nods sagely and walks around, leaving a trail of frozen floor behind his footsteps.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
Leaving her room in the morning after an anxious night, she is shocked to hear that Ceilia died during the night.
Will these.....THINGS stop at nothing! She had so much ahead of her....Fleeing coward, you must indeed be inhuman to envy our emotions... right now, I almost wish I could be so numb. I wish these feelings of hurt and grief on no one, yet they are what make us human.
((OOC: How did you all pick what kind of alchemist to rp? I looked on wikipedia for the types that feature in the full metal alchemist series (having never seen them) but I don't want to pick one that sounds cool (like the Silver alchemist) and then find that character is evil in the series and get lynched because I accidentally roleplay someone nasty ))

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
((From what I see, most of the players are not RP'ing characters from the series.
In FMA, State Alchemists have titles, like the FullMetal Alchemist, the Crimson Alchemist, the Crystal Alchemist, etc. Most of the players simply made up a title for their characters and Role-Played as that Alchemist. You could do that too, if like it.))

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
The Opal alchemist is breakfasting in his room, partially to avoid unwanted attention from debtors in the canteen, partially so that no one gets into his room. The walls are covered in cloth and parchments with half finished alchemist's circles painted on in red ink and the floor and desk are engulfed in a sea of paper with scribbled notes going from edge to edge in neat handwriting. On top of the papers on the desk are the three books he checked out yesterday open on different pages with scraps of paper lodged between pages as bookmarks. On the biggest book lies a vial of dark red liquid.
The Opal Alchemist himself is sitting in his chair at the other side of his small room, reading 'The Central Times' with a slice of toast hanging out his mouth.
Originally Posted by The Central Times

Eptul shakes his head to dislodge his newly acquired train of thoughts and starts to shove his miscellaneous papers and alchemical circles into a heavy satchel, making sure to pick up the three books and the vial. He quickly makes his way out of HQ, avoiding conversation with fellow alchemists, trying to think what the girls he met yesterday meant by 'the bloody field'.
((I do actually have reasoning behind my point today. Firstly, lynching someone for roleplaying a homunculi is idiotic, since there is no other proof that he is in fact one of them. Come back with better reasons, then lynch FC. Secondly. Why would the homunculi kill someone roleplaying? Someone with a really important role won't want to be seen as much. Also, the alchemy points make it an incentive for those with no role. The homunculi obviously want to stop anyone getting enough points to start scrying or otherwise making things difficult. So. Kill the roleplayers. Additionally, it makes those who survive less of a lynch target. Keris Rain wins both ways. a) more roleplay points b) less suspicion.
This is mainly baseless. But better than 'kill Fleeing Coward because he's strange enough to roleplay a bad-guy'.))Last edited by Dr. Bath; 2008-01-30 at 04:18 PM.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
Fyron Morris, the white-haired Twilight Alchemist, watches the gruesome scene calmly, although the attentive onlooker could see the slight hint of anger in his eyes. He fiddles a bit with his pocketwatch before casting a disapproving glare at Fleeing Coward.
"Even though it's hard to tell whether you're a Homunculus or not at this point, acting like one certainly isn't helping your cause." he says, his voice like jagged ice. "This isn't the time time to play any games and harbor any destructive thoughts. I would have expected such delusions from that fool Lujon, but anyone else around here" he gestures with his hand at the ever-increasing crowd in the courtyard, ...should be reasonably sane."
As he waits for the accused to arrive and defend himself, Fyron notices the Opal Alchemist leaving HQ in a hurry.
"And where might you be going?"Spoiler

Hmmm...something has come to my attention, good peoples. I've been looking over my scribes scribing, and I've noticed something which, inadvertently and forsoothily brings me to my most umbridgeous point yet...I accuse you, pikachu!
He's not here, sir. In fact, that's an entirely different show.
Hmmm...I see. Perhaps Fleeing Coward, then, could shed light on all this. Are you, most noble genteelman, an alchemist or a homunculi?
SpoilerI have my reasons, but I'd rather not discuss them openly. If, however, you all decide to kill me for my rather sudden change of heart, please let me speak my fractured mind first.XF: Operating on 95% insanity since 1337 B.C. Because every event needs an insane werewolf noble.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
((Guess there's no point in trying to defend myself in this bandwagon based on nothing but roleplay choice. Wouldn't be all that suprised to find one or 2 real homunculus among those that bandwagoned on me so quickly. The homunculus shall return again in Alchemist 3 should Haruki-kun chose to run another one.))
Resigned to his obvious fate, the homunculus in the corner brings out a spear concealed beneath his cloak and attempts to stab himself before the crowd of pathetic alchemist reaches him.

((Surely you mean inCentive. ))
"These clay people killed that young girl!"
"Why? She was too innocent to be worth killing."
"I know! We hadn't even had time to corrupt the little girl; we could have made her a succubi."
"Or even a Temptress." Heknik says despairingly.
"I know, I know."
"Seuz will be so disappointed. She could have been turned to us so easily. And the power she had. She had it in her to become truly great."
"Oh well. Maybe we can resurrect her one day. Say; what about Ep? D'you think he's smart as Sermeh? He should figure it out so easy."
"He should be. He appears to be high up in the order of Alchymy and that means he's smart. Seriously; anyone who speaks UnderFiend should know where it is." The Spawn Siblings pick the gore from their flesh and tattoo their arms with the blood and bile of their latest meal. Two fully grown bullocks.
Lifting the bollocks' corpses into the air the SpawnSiblings clamber into the air and fly to the Bloody Field. As they fly they see the Cutting WInd avatarist, Keris Rain. "There's that Alchemist who tried to attack us and that yound innocent girl! Let's curse him later."
"It is. Let's flay him alive in his sleep and rip the tendons from his legs while we torture his friends and family."
". . . Have I ever said how glad I am that you're my Spawn Sibling? Because I love you. Let's do that."

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
Oh, Twilight. I'm conducting some research. I apologise, I must hurry or the scholar I need to speak to will be gone. With that the Opal Alchemist strides into the busy street and the thronging crowd, obscured from veiw. Once a few streets away from HQ and the other alchemists, he stops to think for a moment.
The bloody field... the bloody field. The battle of Nedolluc was close to the city, it's said the ghosts of the soldiers still linger there... Worth a try.
The Opal alchamist boards a tram to the outskirts of the city, caught up in his thoughts. From where he gets off it is a further twenty minutes walk to the desolate hilltop where the vicious battle had been fought. The wind whistles ominously through the thicket of windswept trees that grow at the summit. After regaining his breath, Eptul looks around for the Spawn siblings.

The elderly alchemist's sitting in his lab trying to dissect a Hornet.
This is a mighty poison inside this tiny body! Maybe I can seperate it completely from the rest to brew some mighty medicines. I must resist the attraction of these two hell spawns I saw yesterday. This liquid might suppress the feelings.
Hmmm, not enough liquid. I think I will ask Keris Rain if he could catch me a few more hornets...Avatar by the great Lord Herman. Many, many thanks!

What are Xykon Fan's motives? He says he has special reasons for killing Fleeing Coward — what are they? FC's death will help reveal them. Either way, it's just another dead Homunculous or Alchemist.
The man in the hidden cloak points at Fleeing Coward.

Keris looks aghast at the people accusing him.
"You're saying I did this? What possible motive could I have? These homoculi must be trying to pin the blame on me, there is no other explanation."
((Why would I kill Mordokai? Even if I were a homonculi, I'd still be gaining points to use. All Mordokai's death does is incriminate me. Besides, it not very likely the homonculi would have set up a network by now, night kills will still be random.))

"I believe we must destroy this foul creature Fleeing Coward, before he can spread any more confusion. I believe that he is trying to unite the homunculi, and that must be stopped at all costs. Despite the fact that it may already be to late."
"If anyone needs me I'll will be in the library seeing if there are any books generating light and using it the light to slay homunculi. Baring that hopefully I'll find a book on using light to cook food."
(My reasons for voting for Fleeing Coward are two fold; I believe that he may be trying to unite the Homunculi (see the below quote from the rules. Two I want to see if Xykon Fan's hidden reason pans out.)
However, the issue at hand is that they do not know who all the other Homunculi are. It is their job to find the others in order to work as a team.

The sand Alchemist walks round the building feeling very anxious about what’s going on.
I only passed the exams two weeks ago and now I'm in this situation, I just need to calm down, deep breathes. In and out.
Taking a sip from the cup of tea in his hands, the mug turns into its base elements and spilling the tea over his clothes.
What did I just say... calm down Looking round to see if anyone saw it, he was relieved that only Fleeing Coward was around.
Haha newbie mistake hey.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
High above the spectators, the green bird perched on the edge of a rooftop spire. His gaze focused on the one known as Fleeing Coward, and as it did so another fragment of memory dislodged itself from the roof of his psyche. A kaleidoscope of images whirled around his mind as he tried to make sense of these newfound memories...
A memory of Fleeing Coward and Marek sitting together in the library, looking for... something...
Now one of Marek alone, wandering dazed and confused. A horrifying discovery... but of what he did not know...
Another, this time fading into darkness, with pain and confusion foremost in his mind. And Fleeing Coward above it all, smiling cruelly...
Marek shook his head, trying to clear his head of a splitting pain. Looking down from on high at Fleeing Coward, his mind came to a decision influenced by it's newfound information.
His mind forms the question: "Is he one of the ones responsible?"
From his beak issues the answer which his mind has snatched from the brink of oblivion, the one thing which has tied him to his once-human life: "Evidently."
*Marek points at Fleeing Coward*
((Okay, got a nice little RPing theme going. Let's see if I can uncover who robbed me of my humanity...))In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial,
Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
And ate of it.
I said, "Is it good, friend?"
"It is bitter - bitter", he answered,
"But I like it
Because it is bitter,
And because it is my heart."

((Well, there's little chance of me survivng now so I might as well reveal a couple of things.
I had decided what I was going to rp as the moment I signed up so my role has nothing to do with it. However, I was unfortunate enough to be assigned the one role on the homunculi side that requires me to avoid catching the public eye (Envy) but I don't like changing my rp choices once I've decided on one so I persisted with it.
So now that the cat's out of the bag I'm going to ask something that Emperor Demonking shoud have done once his lynch was beyond doubt - all Homunculi, please contact me with your role so that we can start getting organised and destroy these pathetic alchemist.

Re: Alchemists II - Game Thread
I see no point in overkill. Fleeing Coward, or Envy as he prefers, is doomed anyway. I will therefore cast my vote at Keris Rain, to follow the second largest group of votes, in case a homunculi or other force can protect him.
