Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
A buffalo chewed my finger once. I think he was looking for a bottle. He was as big as me but he was still kind of a baby.
Here's a story about a couple who actually domesticated a buffalo (or at least trained him to wipe his hooves on the mat when he comes indoors):

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
Okay. So my skin is waaaaay too dry lately. I'm beginning to actually FEEL like a troglodyte. In the scaly skin sort of way.
Dang winter. It's supposed to get down to -40 F by tomorrow night. Which is, like, a 70 degree temperature difference than what is outside right now. I think all the cardboard boxes are absorbing all the house's humidi...

Did someone mention a frozen wasteland? Yes, it's been drizzling snow the last several days... Just enough to make people forget how to drive.

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
Heh, yeah, it is pretty funny when ONE INCH of 'snow' causes an entire city to shut down
But really, if it's not a white out..there's no reason for driving 25 miles an hour on the interstate when the road is COMPLETELY CLEAR!Last edited by EmeraldRose; 2008-02-08 at 09:03 PM.

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
We had a blizzard. They canceled my meeting....
The snow 'almost' stuck. *rolls eyes*
I had no idea it had even snowed, and it's not like it was one of those 'let's not leave the apartment' days. I was outside at 10, 12, 3, 5...... not one flake....
Insanity I tell you!
Oh....and I like Emerald Palace

*has trouble thinking of the Pudding Goddess as a Grandma*
That is really cute Are you going to always have cookies hot and fresh from the oven at your house?
Cause I'd come over...

Of course. What would gramma's be without cookies?
And why can't you see the pudding goddess as a gramma? My grandma makes great pudding. And anyway, I'm a dessert goddess, and grandma's are great at desserts.

Hmm...you have point there. Also, Zeb doesn't much look like a grandpa, so really, that makes you the perfect pair.
