It was decided that horror should be universal. Belkar and Miko is only horrific if you are familiar enough with the characters...and if extreme ooc-ness is horrific to you. Roy/Julia is only horrific if you know they're siblings.

But poor, naked fairies being fed to Shambling Pubic Mounds by spitefully jealous bards (and seriously, what is that flag?)...tentacle monsters with a penchant for entranglement followed immediately by intrusional probing...that's disturbing whether you know who the poor saps are or not.

Yeah hard to belive we have gone from the first image, V and Belkar hugging, to things like Evard's Spiked Tentacles of Forced Intrusion and pics of tentacle monsters.Not that I'm complaining

I do believe that this thread has somehow warped my sanity. I was grounded for about a week, and I come back to find about five more pages of HoH. So I look through . . . shudder at the new tentacled monster thing . . . and eventually leave to go to the NaNoWriMo forums.

One poster in a thread about urban fantasy mentioned that the name 'urban fantasy' conjured up an image of Justin Timberlake and elves speaking in eubonics.

My mind snapped at the elves/eubonics thing . . . twisted much? Of course, it could be my hatred of Justin Timberlake, rap, and eubonics combined with my obsession/passion for fantasy, but . . . it's still not right.

I've seen Belkar and Roy in bed together, Belkar rubbing his nudity on a glass tube with Roy's corpse floating in it and Roy having a dream about being Gender-Bent and being swept off her feat by a suave Belkar...and then getting drunk when he realizes he actually enjoyed that dream.

But that idea seems new. For added effect you could have Roy or Celia watching him and be somehow aware of what he's thinking about.
