Zhou Yu is my best character too, and historical/novel-wise too. Or one of them.

I remember when I used to be able to do that, stay up late. Nowadays I'm usually in bed by 10:30...
...god I feel old.
Or that my # key is sticky as in tacky to the touch?
Zhou Yu was just fun to play, but he sucked against groups (which, in a mook-slayer like Dynasty Warriors is a really bad thing). Zhao Yun, now there was a crowd clearing machine.

To make more choices I'd need to know more of your list. I am, however, going to be annoying and suggest another one. You've got to read Hong Lou Meng (aka 'The Dream of Red Mansions' aka 'Dream of the Red Chamber'). This is considered to be the pinnacle of Chinese literature. I'm afraid it is a bit 'cherry blossoms fall, everybody dies' but it's also a wonderfully detailed observation of life, love and society in Ming-dynasty China. Sadly I can't find a good online version (I have it in paperback), but maybe Cristo or Hoggy know of one.
Dragonrider: Cowboy space opera - yay!
Griever: A Tale of Two Cities is definitely worth reading at least once in your life.
Player_Zero: I was enjoying storytime, but then I had to go to bed, and following that, work.

In case I haven't already mentioned this, I can now do basic jive dancing.
According to others, I'm actually not half bad.
I might start taking lessons, if I can get off my ass and go.
Also, eugh. I feel terrible this morning.
What else, something else...
Umm...
Yes?
Oh, for you fellow Brawlers out there, through experimentation with custom stages and special brawl, I have found a situation where it is actually impossible for anyone to win.
I played a game last night that actually lasted over 2 hours before we decided to call it a day and just do a No Contest.
Damage Taken: 4120% for me.

Okay, now I'm really going on my amber hunt. I'll pack a shotgun, a carving knife, a trowel, all the things you need to hunt amber. I'm excited!

I'm assuming that it's more of a dig then a hunt. That is a really neat avatar, Dish. I don't think you've mentioned dancing before, Jibar. How did you create a stage like that?

The weather over here's been cool lately for some reason. Use sun cream while staying in the shade, and you should be fine.

Funny thing. I went to bed to minute you said that. And I seen the dawn too.
Don't have number one. Although I did see it for 50p in a charity shop, so maybe. But I'm saving for Saturday. Reading 2) at the moment (along with six other things); yes, that's the right novel (only got it in romanji at the moment but fiding the English version. And 4) is on my shortlist.
Oh, and after hearing about Hong Lou Meng I found this lovely site.
Ethrael you lucky lucky sod. And in answer to your PM Ethrael you need to ask Roguey because she bagged one first. Don't want twins now do we . . . although that'd be so much fun now I think about it.
Okay, people dealt with. Now for amazing news!
My friend, who was on a trip to Morocco, brought me back a camel bone mirror! I'm getting it Saturday. Sadly, I also have to wear this item of feminine clothing known as a skirt as she's never seen me in one.
Oh well. I can stand it for one day.

Re: The Democracy Demon's Devilishly Devious and Decidedly Diabolical Random Banter #
I tried to get into Tale of Genji and Dream of the Red Chamber, and I found them so disgustingly boring I pretty much gave up after the third chapter for both of them. Yes, they really help you understand ancient culture, but they're still dreadfully boring. Given that I read as enjoyment, that's an unacceptable trait in a book for me.

I've only got two books that I just couldn't force myself to get through: Fellowship of the Ring and Sum of All Fears.
I can force myself through most books (Great Expectations springs to mind...ugh), but something about those two just...no.
