Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
Hey, Crimsonmage. Sorry I couldn't keep you from dying. I wonder if they'll get around to autolynching Orzel...
Maybe if they don't autolynch him, I'll just come back from the dead. I mean, I can understand letting someone live once after a major and honest mix-up, but if they're not going to bother keeping track of who is supposed to be autolynched, then I don't see how they could complain if I came back to life.Last edited by Lord Iames Osari; 2007-11-18 at 02:38 PM.

((It was my mistake. Both times. But this time that's what happens for not looking carefully at the spreadsheet. As soon as we end the night, Orzel will be auto'd))

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
The grey haired man rolls his eyes while drinking an unhealthy amount of coffee
But look at the statistics, we have lost Riza, Hohenheim of Light, at least three alchemists, if my admittedly debatable figures are to trusted, they have lost Wraith, Gluttony, and i think that is it. A few people's abilities have been used up on both sides and i am quite afraid for our lives. Unless i have made a mistake due to illness, we have only killed two of them (did we kill a chrimara, i was ill then) and lost five. We need a new tatic.

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
((Actually, if what Korias said was true, Wrath has been resurrected. No Chimera have been slain. All you guys have suceeded in destroying were Lust, who was auto-lynched, and me, who basically gave himself up so I could kill off another Alchemist. I think you guys are in trouble. ))

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
It would make sense that what I said was true: in the rules, it says that fallen Homonculi are replaced by chimeras recruited by Wrath.
Either way, we need to act quickly. Were running out of options. All we can do is see what happens tonight. Depending on who they kill, we can go on from there.

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
((I don't think Homunculi can be resurrected - they can only be replaced. If Wrath had been resurrected, then Ichneumon would have started playing again. Since he hasn't, it means Wrath was replaced, not resurrected, assuming Korias is being truthful.))

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
((Right, "replaced." I misspoke. But that's not the issue. The point is, if Korias isn't lying, Wrath is back, and there is still Envy, Sloth and Pride to deal with, plus the most dangerous of them of all: Father. Since Greed has used his personal kill, he is next to useless.))

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
Night 6 ends.
It's a terrible sight.
The Alchemists are woken up by a horrible sound in the middle of the night. A loud noise, and a horrible scream afterwards. They all poke their heads out of their rooms and stare at each other, then resolve to head out.
As the whole group heads out, they pass next to the library's wide open doors...............
"Look!" yells out someone, pointing.
The Director walks forward to see what it is. Lying on the floor in the library is the body of Orzel. Skippy head forward to examine it.
"Is he an Alchemist?" asks Haruki.
"Yes..... I mean, no." says Skippy. "He's not a Homunculus and a Chimera, but........ well, he's one person we're sure glad to be rid of. Though at this point his help might have proved useful........"
"What was the noise?" asks an Alchemist. "It didn't come from here, it came from somewhere else!"
"Oh, my..........." Haruki stares into the distance. The Alchemists turn to look.
The fountain in the middle of the courtyard has been destroyed., and the water flows out of it......... in a dreadful red hue....... around the body of an Alchemist. Korias.............
As they all stare, suddenly someone screams from within the group. Everyone turns to the center of the group, where Malpik Azhurer suddenly drops dead in front of everyone.
"Move!" shouts Haruki. ""This man was killed right now! In front of your very eyes! He was alive when we got here! Did no one see him die?"
It is a terrible night indeed, the Alchemists think as dawn breaks and the sun rises in the horizon.
Summary:
Orzel was Auto-lynched. He was Barry, the Chopper. Since he wasn't lynched, his ability is not activated. ((Apologies for the Late Auto-lynch))
Korias was killed by the Homunculi. He was an Alchemist.
Malpik Azhurer was killed, too. He was an Alchemist as well.
Day 7 begins now and ends in 48 hours.

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
(I think Malpik was targeted by Scar and his aleatory effect ability...
There was another night when the attack of the homunculi was blocked by a "red glow" I believe it was a random bannering from Scar as well.)
Just sharing these information, not going to point yet...

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
Strum comes out of his room to see the college blighted by death and destruction.
"We're all going to die here. The Homunculi have us right where they want us. Come on my fellow alchemists we need to work together and communicate! If we can talk to eachother and build up some trust we can take these creatures down! But none of us can do it on our own....we need to talk!"
Strum looks at the assembled throng imploringly.

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
*DLD gives a wide grin*
It seems I've been found out. I was indeed rather glad that night. So glad, in fact, that I was unable to conceal it. But not about the loss of Gluttony. I've got what I came for-the death of Hohenheim-although I would have liked to do it by my own hand. Go ahead and kill me. I've had enough of this academy now that my sworn enemy has been defeated.
*DLD yawns rather obviously and points at herself*

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
The man in the trenchcoat turns towards the now 'revealed' Envy, "DLD, I do hope you are not trying to decieve us. For if this is some sort of joke, it is in bad taste. We are in dire straights indeed. This will come down to us regular alchemists, the great and good of the alchemist corps have been decimated. All we have left on our side is an insane Ishbalen, a useless Humunculus and our seers, one of which is useless and too scared to come out into the open in case they reveal themselves to a Humunculus. Dire straight indeed."
He shakes his head and walks outside into the sunlight.
((Ha! I told you FoE was a humunculus! *does a little dance* Also, could you update the player list, Haruki or Skippy? It would be quite helpful next lynching round to know who's dead.))

"The Gods are just and of our pleasant vices, make intruments to plague us. The dark and vicious place where thee hath writ thyself shalt cost thee thine life. For the light of Apollo doth bely thy spurious nature and reveal thy hoarding drangonish nature as a lover of death. This demi-devil has plotted with them to take our lives. Hoist with its own petard!"

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
" heh serves you right Kori...... NOOOO!!!! NOW ILL NEVER GET TO STAB HIM IN THE NIGHT!!!!" Slaanesh moves up to DLD and trys to stab him in the back, literally. "the funny part, is that by killing homoculi is an advantage of sorts, as the night kills become more acurate, Kinda like these monsters in a game I was playing called the iron lungs" Slaanesh pauses then says " The monster not the game, if anyone cared."
OOC: nice planning, on the night kill iron lung like effect, unless that was an accident. Never mind, if that is so.trill in da playground

Re: Alchemists - Game Thread
This may be improper of me to suggest, but perhaps instead of autolynching inactive people, you can give their roles to people who have been killed already and who still want to play? Because I wanna play still!
Obviously, it would be most fair to reassign the roles on a first dead, first served basis, so Thcrimsonmage would get a role, then Freshmeat, then me, etc. (apologies if I missed anybody else who has been killed and still wants to play, and who died before I did).Last edited by Lord Iames Osari; 2007-11-19 at 07:48 PM.
