I have a couple ideas.

Pop:0's dwarven miner

Then:
Gender-bent versions of both the present main characters (The dwarf miner and the shifty elf). For some reason I get the idea that the dwarf would look like Hilgya, but that seems implausible to me.

I imagine that the wings and half-robe thing on the left took a long time to do. I certainly wouldn't have the patience to try to do that by hand.

That is especially true when you make it up as you go along.

Originally the robe was planned to encompass both legs, but I switched it.

I only ever doodle really abstract stuff when I'm not paying attention, to be honest. The card things on the end of my paper pads are literally covered in page-covering abstract swirls and dots and lumps and stuff.

I'm guessing you've used either Inkscape or Illustrator for those...Just because sodipodi would be too much of a bitch to get it right in...Hmmm, now I want to try and vector something with sodipodi...DAMNIT!

Anyway! They're very good. The second one, the water doesn't look great, but I see what you've tried to do. The legs are fine, but the water on her head and that would be more small, stationary drops instead of larger running ones. I'd also try and put a little more shading into both of them, but that's probably just me :P

Inkscape is the best way to go! (not to mention free)

Aye, the water doesn't look quite right does it? I could probably do a heck of a lot better job tracing, shading, making slight changes, etc. but I am currently taking more classes than your average college student (still in highschool), and as such, probably won't be making any changes.

However, thanks for the tips; I'll try to work them in if I find the time to trace another.

I think I prefer getting the images one at a time. Then we can appreciate each one by itself instead of it blurring into the other awesomeness in the huge posts.
In other words… new drawing = win.
