Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
I dont know where salmon is. But the shades have just begun to be shady. The big bad isn't dead. They've just become bigger and badder.
I was sort of hoping the whole Shades thing is done with. What's the fun in having a big bad if the damn thing isn't even stoppable?Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2008-12-21 at 06:20 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
Again ? I assume this time they'll ascend to god-like level and conquer more of the planet off-panel, but when a few people come in their lair they'll let them through. And I thought we were at a point where we could conclude the events of Fat Fish Fury I.
Anyway, here is a proposition:
Suddenly, aplottime-space hole to a parallel universe opens. In this universe, the Shades died when after weakening hull integrity. The Shades, alive in this universe, are dragged into theplottime-space hole and then it closes. In the real universe, the Shades ceased to exist, so the events that lead to Future Imperfect can happen, while in the alternate universe, the Shades exist and can do whatever they wish.
What do you think ?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
I still think we should have both rather than kill 3F, we've poured too much time and effort into it and it's given us too much enjoyment to be cut down so swiftly.
We can still have FI with 3F, the time skip allows leeway for that. The only trouble that seems to be brewing is the logistics, hence a new thread for a new plot with drastically different logistics and themes.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
There is no need for a new thread. Future Imperfect is a sequel to Fat Fish Fury ! It's like Lord of the Rings to The Hobbit, or Star Wars V to Star Wars IV. The rules are just an extension of the old guidelines, to make people enjoy themselves collectively !
Anyway, what do you think of my proposition of an alternate universe where the Shades are alive and Fat Fish Fury I continues ?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
It seems to be a kneejerk reaction for Threeshades. She doesn't make a comic in a while, so we start to catch up with her, so she becomes even bigger and badder to push us back.
However, her last comic is up to interpretation, unless she makes another comic really quick. We could read it that with Threeshades Death, the shades have been cast out of her body, she sacrificed herself to deny them corporeal form. They damage the Vendetta as a last act of vengeance, but they remain incapable of sustaining themselves without the body of a child of Sildyu to inhabit. They are scattered to the winds, not destroyed but gone. For now....

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
I apologise to anyone I offended. It was spontaneous and I didn't control myself enough.
I think your idea is great. Since Threeshades is busy at the moment, her character could stay inactive (or something like that) for the duration of the Future Imperfect plot. When it ends, hopefully she'll have more time in her hands and maybe the Shades will return meaner, angrier and stronger.

I thought it was pretty awesome.
But the shades have just begun to be shady. The big bad isn't dead. They've just become bigger and badder.
But yeah, jokes aside, Keris's idea sounds good.Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2008-12-21 at 10:40 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
Just going from the games though, it would allow you to ride a pokemon over water.
So thereby, Q must be standing on a pokemon which is just under the water.Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2008-12-21 at 11:06 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
Water. It's a Pokémon move.
Now we need someone to state that the Shades are gone in a comic to make it canon, then we just need to destroy the Keys.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
He has used a Poke-mon move, Surf, to ride the waves on foot.
He learned this technique by spending a week as a Poke-mon and learning the moves. He has got a fair amount of Water moves (and some Ice moves and a few Ghost Moves) while "GSQ" has learned a great amount of Electric moves. They both have kept their moves from that time.Last edited by Green-Shirt Q; 2008-12-21 at 11:16 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
I'm starting now, but what should I do ? This is what I've had in mind:
Tvor: Your offer is welcomed, stranger, but our senate is already well protected. Now, I have important matter to attend to. *to the guinoid near the door* Please escort our guests to the shore. Grand Marshal Demer Eudyptes needs all the help he can get to set up the artillery.
Guinoid: Of course. *to Megadoomer and his friends* Please follow me.
So you want to see Fat Fish Fury end ? I don't understand.Checked in a dictionary and found out that you meant.Last edited by Mad Mask; 2008-12-21 at 11:27 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale: Discussion Thread XV, Now Darker and Edgier
Well, I've got a character sheet for FI, but the desire to destroy the keys kinda wrecks it. Can we keep them?
SpoilerIlya
Ilya is Empress of the UDE (United Draconic Empire), part of the UNoA. She took power in heretofore unseen circumstances, and has since quested endlessly for the Talisman of the Dragon King. She has 4 of the 5 Keys, the last one being in the (rebel?) lands of Alphantica.
She is quite powerless alone, except for her ability to change to purple dragon form. Her true strength lies in her manipulative abilities.
Dang, thats short.
Edit: I think we should keep 3f. I, for one, would use it as a backstory comic.Last edited by Lavidor; 2008-12-21 at 12:13 PM.
