Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
From what I understand, ice cream actually sells more in winter than in other seasons.

As far as traditional deserts go (cake, cookies, pie), Ice Cream can't be beat.
I usually prefer either simple flavors or simple flavors with some form of texture (especially Snickers pieces).Spoiler<-I won this from Dr. Bath.Spoiler

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
Yeah, I always prefer the simpler flavors when I'm looking to eat it. I'll generally try the more outlandish ones, but ice cream, as a comfort food, tends to just go to the pedestrian. Probably something to do with our mental associations with milk...

Today is a day for munchy foods. Been snacking on Doritos, and I'm going to head for the Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream now...
After some water...

I don't care for ice-cream. It makes my teeth hurt.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
That always has been my biggest complaint, especially with all the peer pressure I had when young to bite the ice cream. I still don't get that...
Hmm, when are you going to give the new tyke his first ice cream, Madame Rose?

Mmm, indeed... Is the older one even old enough for icy cream?
****, now I can't remember when I first was allowed ice cream... it's like an existential ice cream crisis...

Yes, the older one is 5, so he gets ice cream and various other stuff he shouldn't have too much of.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
Because little kids aren't very good lickers and if they don't bite it, it has a tendency to drip all over their fingers, clothing, faces, and other nearby objects.
(has a four-year-old brother)
I wasn't allowed any sweets at all in my first two years. I had a bran muffin instead of cake on my first birthday.
Then come along three brothers...pssh. It was all over for them. Cake, cookies, ice cream....

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
On ice cream: I'm a huge sorbet fan.
In fact, I don't much care for non-fruit iced desserts.
Is it better to be the last child or the first child?
I guess it would go something like this:
Last child.
Not first child, but not middle.
Not last child, but not middle.
First child.
Middle child.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
What about only child? Huh!? That's discrimination that is.
Biting ice-cream is best, as that makes it more flavoursome, however it does not last as long sadly. Acursed logic spoiling my day by being right etc mumble grumble.
Also: Cold house is cold. 'Why?' I don't hear (or read for that matter) you ask? Because it is. Further investigation is required before a more complete hypothesis can be postulated.

I don't bite Ice Cream for two reasons.
Firstly, I prefer savoring it. Secondly, the act of biting it rubs it against my gums, which are about as tough as year-old cream cheese in the sun.Spoiler<-I won this from Dr. Bath.Spoiler

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
I think that the last child has it roughest and also that they should be given presents and medals and a parade in my honour.
I scream at ice cream. Both because it is scary and for something to do.Last edited by Player_Zero; 2008-12-28 at 05:41 PM.

Yeah.
Well.
You smell like kumquats.
Being an only child is the greatest and deserves a double-medal made of chocolate and rainbow smiles. It is a bit lonely though.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
So... Gonna' support your claims?
Also, I don't think you can make generalisations like that.
Like Yoda sense I think it makes not.
In other news, I think I need to quit gaming and do some studying for a little bit... So I don't fail my course and whatnot... And maybe eat some things sometimes.
Would be so much easier if I didn't have to share a kitchen with people I swear. It's discrimination against antisocial people like me.Last edited by Player_Zero; 2008-12-28 at 05:52 PM.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
So I've succumbed to the evil that is the shipping thread. In fact, I've probably missed the entire point. Or maybe I just saw a niche that was left unfulfilled.
