Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
I liked Cassius. Purely 'cause the guy who made him had a funky-beard. And beards were cool, in my eyes, at the time.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
I do believe someone called dibs on that... I think... Hmm. I hope someone called dibs on that and we didn't just assume that someone would go ahead and do it.
Hmm, now what's a good petname other than Ruts or the Rutster... we've already got Cero and Peezy for PZ....
Edit: Maybe Rootsy? Rootsie sort of like tootsie..hmm....not that Roots is bad...

Their children are called Rutskellingtons.
Edit: Personally, I'd call him Rutsky. Or Rrrutsky, not a rhotive but a little rawr, like in grrrl power.
Edit2: Mr. Dakota, I suggest thou get thee to a fruitery. Wouldst thou be a breeder of pippins? Is there apple in your eye?!Last edited by Kneenibble; 2008-12-28 at 06:49 PM.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
Good one, with that little name. I like it.
Hmm, now how far back were we discussing all of that anyway? Seems like it was almost weeks ago.
...I find myself wondering how british people talk
V: Well, it's more like... I dunno, I just get the feeling I wouldn't be able to do Cero justice if it came time to do more than a bit dialogue as a preface to a snog-fest.
I don't know! *weeps*

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
Before anyone can do anything of the sort, you need to give us your permission. What you say here might be taken as implied permission, but official would be good. The list in the first post hasn't been updated for ages, by the way.
Regarding dibs: No-one called dibs to my recollection, and dibs have little or no significance in such a matter anyway. You want to write it, you write it. As long as it doesn't break the rules.
@^: You've been hanging around in RB for a while now. How do you not know how British people talk?Last edited by Thufir; 2008-12-28 at 07:21 PM.

Technically, hanging around here will only tell him how British people type. If he's wondering about the British accent...

Well, to be fair, I am absolutely no good example of how Canadian people talk.
That was
breathtaking, Coidzillus.
I thank you. Negasmic.

I certainly hope it was breathtaking in a good way, thank you. You're welcome if it was, sorry if it wasn't.
But... What's a Negasmic?
I'm starting to get the feeling I did a bad thing....
V: Well, thank you very much then, sirrah.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
Yes, in a good way!
Negasmic is an adjective -- its root is negasm. Which I had when I read your story. Study Mr. Aziraphthalo's video well, by the way, it seems quite accurate to me.
Love the reaction, Rutsky.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
Let me start by saying that in terms of writing skill, it was quite good.
In terms of whispering dark, twisting words in a terrifying cant, breaking my will, shattering my courage and snapping what precious sanity I have like a feeble, decayed bone under the jaws of a hungry wolf, it was very successful.Last edited by Rutskarn; 2008-12-28 at 07:58 PM.

Re: Coplantor's Completly Creative Cautious and Contemplative Random Banter #109
Ah. Well, as long as it wasn't the dialogue that did it to you.
I was starting to think I'd never be able to finish and post it due to the horrible dialogue problems. And realizing that Rutskarn hadn't actually given permission for such things to exist... <_< >_>
Any preferences when it comes to love-seats? I was thinking a nice dark red velvet cake sort of thing.

It also tastes kinda delicious in a sickly sort of way that makes sure to let me know that I'll get a cavity and cancer for my trouble, but it'll be an interesting trip down sickness lane....
And it's so easy when you're evil...
So what do you say, do you delve further down into the rabbit hole?
