Sovices.
Depends on what side the portal program will be owned by (if still operable).

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
I have a way to make Home Base darker and deteriorate Brain's jar juice.
The UNA beurocratic funding disallows that money to be spent replacing the jar juice.
I like this solution because it can make Home Base darker by making a tangled forest of red tape and martial law.
Alternatively there could be no more jar juice left in the world.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
That works. The UNA may see that the Home Base project has potential, but they don't care enough to give it adequate funding. They say "We are giving you as much funding as a research project of your priority level" "But it's not enough!" "Feel free to submit an increased budget at the beginning of the next fiscal year"

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
That seems kind of...cruel. The UNA isn't really bad, per se.
But I guess it makes sense if the jar juice is reallllly expensive.
This could also work, I guess.
Just don't do anything yet. I'm still not really sure if I want Brain to be around during FI yet.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
What if the investors lost interest in the D-jumping (maybe because the portal malfunctioned) and the team now try to gather the money themselves (doesn't go that well) or maybe there was unexpected side effects of the D-jumping (like a lethal disease caused by the vibration changes during the jumps or something) and the portal was destroyed because of that, so the previous D-jumpers are trying to achieve the money to research a cure.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
So, the terrorists (who are against ONLY the UNA) attacks a bunch of mad scientists and illegal immigrants travelling the multi-verse why? Besides Moss and white (and their cat) would sympathise with the resistance... Maybe the dangers of such power D-jumping gives one made the UNA afraid it could fall in the wrong hands (and be used to get reinforcements for the resistance) and they shut it down.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
I ment experienced players. Parental figures who have just gotten the game the same time you did and know even less about it then you do don't count. Master Hand doesn't count either. He's an easy boss.
Face off against somebody who has played it since it came out and repects the stratagy involved and then we'll talk.
Another test that might be equally as fulfilling is, when you beat the Subspace Emissary, go into Boss Battles and set it to "Intense". See how well your random button mashing helps you there.Last edited by Green-Shirt Q; 2009-06-18 at 10:06 AM.

My first of my Two new ABR characters to replace Fayte:
She's an Albino Elf.
Her class Is Synchronized Swordsman with her (Semi-) Identical twin Ikaeru.I'm technically but I refuse to admit it!QuotesI'm an Artist!, If you want an Avatar just PM me your specifics - Avatar by Me!

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
Will the twin be black themed with a "good" weapon? (she has a white theme with a pretty evil looking weapon) it seems twins are usually like that in fiction (they are identical but still opposite, that's pretty cool)
EDIT:
Now that you've decided not to use your main character I've begin to think about Killing of two of my characters making the last a kind of revenge driven anti-hero style character (fit's the setting) and use my back up characters instead from that on.Last edited by Mina Kobold; 2009-06-18 at 11:24 AM.
