Re: Bibliography II
It was raised in the maze. The Minotaur was the child of his wife so they just had to put it in as a baby. Also, there was a door to the labyrinth, so it could be shut. It is also easier to keep someone from getting through a door than to fight them normally. It also may be worth noting that part of the reason few could beat it is they were thrown into the labyrinth without weapons if I recall correctly (not to mention it knew it's way around).

Re: Bibliography II
Konban ha (Pronounced Konbanwa, BTW) means "Good evening" and Ogenki desuka (The U is silent) means "How are you?"

Well, technically, I wrote "BIBURIOGURAFI".

Re: Bibliography II
I don't think so. When ever I see Daisuke used it's as a name, and Daisuki is always translated as "I like (object)" using informal language which due to cultural emphasis on formality makes it colloquially "I really like/love (object)".
But then this is all learned from various manga and could very well be wrong.

Re: Bibliography II
I think I see what you are arguing (Although I am not sure) but Daisuki is just stating that you like something more then other things you like. (Literally big like) When refering to people it can be regarded as a "Like like" type thing, and to objects someone stating that they "absolutely love" this new coffee. For just a normal level of 'yea sure this I like apple pie' you can just pop in a suki.
EDIT: Oh wow, I missed the typo. Yea, that confused me. I was tring to see what you were arguing. My bad.Last edited by Tono; 2010-09-04 at 11:55 PM.

Re: Bibliography II
Actually, I think I had a misunderstanding with the word: I misinterpreted zeful's comment. I thought he meant daisuki meant "convert" or "converter" in the context of his statement, and not "I like (alot)". And then I had a typo, which completely changed the interpretations of that I said. >Headdesk<

Re: Bibliography II
I've recently been thinking of moving Bibliography to a more Bibliography-centered website instead of on Gaijinmanga, but I'm not too sure how to go about it. I dunno, I've started to feel a little uncomfortable about this arrangement.
Well, it's just a thought for now. It'd be nice to get a site up running with newsposts and forums, though.
