Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
What new thinga-mabob
I know it's something I've personally been looking for for a while (since I have a horrible memory; seriously, I probably couldn't follow weekly episodes of the Teletubbies without forgetting plotlines ), so we're hoping this feature will help people to find comics much more easily.Last edited by Crahen; 2009-04-03 at 02:27 PM.

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
As Crahen said, yes, there is a search function, so I won't restate what he said, but I will ask this: Fanart? I don't recall getting any fanart from you...
In any event, here's today's update.[ There was a signature here. It's gone now. ]

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
A question I've always wanted to ask:
Why do vampires always wear black ? In this comic, and nearly every portrayal of them in the media, they always seem to wear these kind of clothes. But black vestments are thermal collectors, and the sun's heat is especially dangerous to vampires. So isn't wearing white a better idea to be protected from the sun ?

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
Besides, it's hard to tell who is a vampire if they don't fit the universal vampire dress code. It would leave thousands confused.

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
I agree with the night predator theory, but then there's also the fact that Vampires are typically very stylish and black goes with just about everything.

If it's not there, that's very strange, but try a cache refresh (hold down Shift while pressing the refresh button, in Firefox at least).

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
in that case, they'd die anyway. It's obviously the rays. (Which wouldn't work either, because it's reflected from the moon, so they'd only be able to go out on a starless night (or be caught by another sun) on a new moon, sure to avoid wizards with any sunlight spells)

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
It could be an energy issue, it's possible the distance between the sun-earth and sun-moon-earth is just enough for the radiation/rays to lose enough energy for vampires to be unaffected (Or maybe they experience a slight tingling sensation in moonlight, but nothing significantly detrimental).

in that case, they could just cast protection from energy and walk outside. It's the actual contact with direct sunlight that affects them.

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
New update. Too tired to say anything else at the moment. Though I guess this counts as something else, doesn't it? Well, crap, I suppose that makes me a liar. So a liar I will be.

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
I guess Aldran is referring to the early strips of the comic.

I must be missing something... I don't really think that's what he means, but...
How do they drag Kaal along like that??The artist formerly known as Tired N' Drowzy, master of puns.

Re: Anti-Heroes: Vol. III
The scene is an
rip-off ofhomage to the Wizard of Oz, specifically the scene where the four of them are about to go in and see the Wizard and the Cowardly Lion tries to wuss out. (Note that Kaal's face-paint makes him look cat-like.)
Honestly, if I wasn't working on the play, I wouldn't have gotten it either.Last edited by TigerHunter; 2009-04-07 at 11:11 PM.

Naaah, Keriss is the Scarecrow. She's no witch, though she is apparently like a demon in the sack.
On the subject of the Wizard of Oz, I prefer the alternate ending.Last edited by FoE; 2009-04-08 at 01:31 PM.

You know, rereading the comic alerts me that....there is a long-term plot!

Reminds me of Baldur's Gate 2, with the illusionist gnome in the circus.

I wonder how much the gnome owes Aldran. Pay no attention to the man behind the darkness.
