    Hell, I can see that.

We'd definitely have to be detectives, though.

Either way is fine with me. Could alternate each maybe... Of course eventually we'd have to foil our own plans in order to save the world but then imprison ourselves in an easily escapeable situation with inept guards, etc. Could get confusing.

How about a combination of Dangermouse and Hong Kong Fooey? That would be perfect in my book. Hong Kong Fooey may have been a bit of a clumsy oaf, but he's still cool.

At least we may have a Pathfinder Eberron game starting up soon. Nothing quite as awesome as that.
    . . .

    YOU LUCKY GIT!!
We have to use the Euthyphro, the Apology and the Crito, we're highly advised to read the Phaedo and a lot of people have used other sources, mainly Clouds and that Xenophon source . . . Memorabilia or something.
I handed that CLassics coursework a few weeks ago (first draft) and I still haven't read the Crito.
    What's your question?
We ha a choice of four and most people went with the easy: To what extent was Socrates guilty of the charges laid before him? one.
Though others did go for How far was Socrates a teacher? or To what extent is it possible to say Socrates was a Sophist? one. Noone went for the one involving how good a form of teaching the dialogues were.

Stupid pushy college making us read three when other do one.

Odd, that last question remaining untouched. What's to stop a prospective teacher hauling out far less impenetrable Socrates study guides to point out that, as a method of conveying information, the question-and-answer format was dreck! Ah well, pride is pride. Remind me of the ages of the class again? My college (sorry, university to you) restricted the course to third-year and up usually--that's twenty and up. I had to get special permission for taking it at eighteen, and if hadn't been only a month's course in between sessions, I would have not been able to tread water for the whole of it.

I'd say you flipped the coin for it and P_Z would always complain when he had to be the good cop. Or maybe the loser of the coin toss would always grumble about having to be the good cop today. Possibly some sort of running gag ala Rosencrantz and Guildenstern with either a fair or trick coin always landing the same way and amazing the duo.

Nah, Zero's definitely the bad cop, but not necessarily an effective one. Reason being, he's not actively aggressive so much as passively, broodingly sinister.

"If you don't answer in the next 13.54 seconds, I might not be able to restrain my partner."

"Oh yeah? What's he gonna do?"

"...what are you going to do, Zero?"

    "..."

"Zero, are you HOLYSONOFADOGBITTENFLEAMAGNATE, what the HELL did you just do to his kidneys! You have to threaten him first!"

"Sorry, hard for me to count and talk at the same time."

I admit, accurately measuring time while talking would be hard, but I'm not sinister; I'm your good friend Zero, the loveable rascal. He makes jokes, he does tricks and you all have a good laugh.

I wouldn't worry too much about him smiling like that, that's just his way. Definitely more of a 'having a good time' kind of smile than a 'waitying for you to turn around' kind of smile. Definitely.

Anyhow, this loveable, and thoroughly charming, rascal needs sleep. So you'll all have to bate your breath until I return.
