Re: Failing Saves
Heading into town. Since we don't know this world just yet, we don't know if Drow will be accepted with caution, open arms, or open revulsion.
Now the question is, "Will our Heroes get their first mission from a mysterious stranger sitting in a dark corner of a bar" or something else?
"Draw, draw, draw; draw the clever fanstrip!"
It's nice to have a high quality fanstrip to get my OOTS fix when RIch is feeling under the weather.Last edited by Surfing HalfOrc; 2007-11-26 at 12:37 PM.

Re: Failing Saves
Just quickly logged on to say two things.
1. Awesome job again with the comic Salmon I didn't get the chance to have a look before you posted.
2. I think I'm starting to come down with something, so I'm gonna take a break from writing scripts. This will either not affect Wednesday's comic at all, or delay it. Just thought I'd let you know. It's a long road out of Eden.

Re: Failing Saves
I now enjoy reading this comic more than OotS. I also think the art has reached the point that it is equally great. I didn't gt the joke in the last comic though.

Re: Failing Saves
Good comic. Heh. Looks like Oaktown ain't little no more... that and it's probably run out of oaks a long time ago. Maybe the oaks went to the folks with cold feet... or cold gold, eh? Beware the druids!

Re: Failing Saves

Re: Failing Saves
It's been suggested before that it is, and the author and artist have not said "No." But the story doesn't seem to be set in Ebberon, and even the Giant has made Ebberon references in OotS.
I hope more Warforged get a chance to appear in this strip, maybe even as party members. But Undertaker and Salmon have a script already written, we just have to wait for the presentation. Thanks to Ceika (X2), Yeril, Holammer and Dr. Bath for the Avatars!

Re: Failing Saves
We decided to take kpenguin's advice and set it in our own homebrew world. And you should be seeing more Warforged crop up down the line. Stay tuned!

Re: Failing Saves
Oh dear, poor little guy...ten strips in and the first thing for the Campaign for Equal Heights to get on there high horse about
Of course, that's only if they can find a ladder to get up there...
*snigger*
Oh just one minor quibble, when the eyes are closed that scar seems to be right in the middle of his face, rather than being over one eye.Last edited by banjo1985; 2007-11-28 at 09:25 AM.

Re: Failing Saves
I like it, but I feel it is a re-used joke from OotS withthe ghoul thing.

Re: Failing Saves
Judging by the expression on the little guy's face in panel 7, it seems our "heroes" already have a bit of a reputation...

Re: Failing Saves
Wow!
I didn't noticed this strip before... really good!
Great art, I would like to see the story develop a little more, but this is absolutely a very good start.
Thanks for doing this (ps: would you mind to update the very first post with the new comics? Thanks, twice!)

Re: Failing Saves
Perhaps the scar was inflicted by an Incorporeal creature? Or maybe he acquired it while in an Ethereal state?

Re: Failing Saves
English Teacher Alert!
Wobbly Stool should be capitalized, as it is a proper noun.
