However, if you use the Forum search, you can still view the threads. I liked the banners most and would like to access the material in future. Are there plans to purge those threads from the forum, or will they be kept like the House of Horror?

All the stories are still available in the locked threads; locked threads are still viewable, after all. Just check one of the Crack Pairing thread's indexes under Water-Smurf for the epic V x Reddy fic(s) in question.

Some material (including WS's) can also be found on FanFiction.net. A website that also happens to have forums.

As the unofficial spokesdragocamel for the former Crack Pairing Thread, I understand and fully support the mods decision to lock it. We had been warned about inappropriate stories and for a short while things did improve. The story that got the thread locked was an incestous relationship between two nine year old children. If that was the sort of thing the thread was leading into, there is no way on Earth this or any other site would host it.

I did speak to Roland about it and it was not an easy decision for him and the other mods - there were some fine stories on there but as I said, I fully support the choice to lock the thread. Please do not ask for it to be revived.

Uhm, I think Roland said that non-shipping user stories were okay. I don't want to do anything until he signs off on it though.

Regardless, we all failed to keep it clean. I feel really upset, as I should have had a more watchful eye.
