I love Ben's response to Pete's declaration of alignment. Suddenly, a lot of the choices that R2 made in the original trilogy are beginning to make more sense.

Remember also that ben has been fighting a war, AND he just soloed a bbeg. Im sure he has gotten plenty of exp over the course of this arc. In fact, aside from possible bonus roleplay exp from the dm, anakin hasnt really done much so the slaughter of children was probably needed just to put him on the same level as ben.

Likewise. It might be that they have Obi Wan kill her instead, or maybe she gets NPC'd for whatever reason. Frankly, with the couple effectively dying (since Darth Vader doesn't actually do anything) and leaving behind two kids of appropriate genders, it's most likely that Annie makes it a setup for the good trilogy.

New theory, padme is going to try and setup anikan, will get caught, and annakin will kill her. The rerason i think this is in comic 577 padme is desperately trying to convince annkian that her actions in character arent how he feels about annie irl. Im hoping for a betrayal! Then when annie wins, jim gets pissed and quits, so her character dies giving birth.

My prediction: Mustafarr, where the Anakin/Obi-Wan battle happens, will actually be Naboo. All the ruins and lava are because they all ignored the hints that something catastrophic was about to happen there.

Well, I guess everything is possible for the characters, even Anakin killing Padme for whatever reason. Maybe the love is faked as well and all was just a setup. Or Padme is going to backstab him or turn back to the good side after talking to Obi-Wan... we'll see.


More curious how the original trilogy will play out, e.g. whether Vader will still be Annie/a PC.

Well, considering Vader probably not being a PC in IV-VI, it would make sense for Annie to play him as the GM. No proof for anything of course but still.

As for today... Pete was the most powerful character ever? That couldn't have possibly ended well..

Well it makes sense in a van helsing type of world. If he became the werewolf, he would be pretty badass right there. Even the vampire fears a werewolf, and it takes a cunning trap by a dozen humans in the movie to even HOPE to take one down. So... yeah. Very powerful.

Annie's game was clearly meant to be the plot of Underworld (with some Twilight mixed in), which I didn't see but I know what based heavily on the Old World of Darkness setting.

Pete could have either been a combat-focused Werewolf or a social- or combat-focused Vampire in that system and been "the most powerful character ever".

I dunno, im pretty sure it talked about frankenstiens monster as well. It sounded an awful lot like van helsing to me, mixed in with some sparkly twilight garbage.

Dont forget the exp for killing all those vampire/gargoyle looking babies. Its like in world of warcraft back in the day. A mage wouldnt bother going after stuff his level, he would pull in 2 dozen monsters that are just BARELY still worth exp, and kill them all at once. Huge exp boost. Same thing here, cause all dem babies to explode and rake in the levels!

Of course Pete was Van Helsing. The repeat-action crossbow alone smells of munchkinery.

Even if it was a pretty crappy weapon. I mean my god, it took him over a hundred shots just to take down ONE vamp! Though im sure petey would have thought of the holy water angle right off the bat. "My crossbow bolts are literally that, bolts made from the wood of a holy cross. Not only that, but I keep them soaking in holy water so they do an extra +2 damage to all undead creatures!"
