Heh, it kinda was. He knows the shade, but nothing else about the dragon since he doesn't have Knowledge (Arcana).

"You are right, it worked so well for you guys" was Artorias sarcastic reply.

"Did you really make sure the Dragon was dead?"

"How about I chuck you in the ocean and see how long you last?" Avram retorts just as sarcastically. "And it was just fine until you showed up."

Artorias bring his glaive closer to him and begins to inspect it, he takes a strip of cloth from his satchel and stars wiping the blood from it"Now, now, didn't I tell you to mind your manners? Besides it was you who attacked us with no warning after my friend here" he nods to the Badger "offered help to your vessel" Once the blade is clear he rests the tip on Avram's neck.

"You have 5 seconds to convince me not to cut open your throat, starting.... now"

"As I already said, you fought the dragon, then we fought you. Fair is not a term for pirates." Badger shifted the weight of Elsee's body cutting off circulation in her foot. She gently pushed Art's glaive away from the man's neck. "But those issues aside, what was the ship's name that you were on? And did you run across... damn can't remember the name, Art what ship was Natasha on? Well, a ship headed for Roxim Island."

"I can't remember either, sorry"

Avram wiggles away from Artoria's glaive, moving slightly closer to the edge of the ship.

"We were on this ship, genius," he says to Badger. "And I don't know any Natasha."

He winces against his bonds.

Artorias narrows his eyes a bit"Don't try anything, it will not be good for you"

"Name of the ship. And don't squirm away." Badger let Elsee roll to the ground as she hauled the ranger back from the edge. She didn't know if he was likely to try to kill himself, but she didn't want to take the chance.

Sora is sitting nearby, barely listening and in a state of shock over the death of her colleague.

Alright then. im going to keep bringing your stuff to our ship and pry some planks at stratigic locations of your ship while my friends here will decide what to do with you.


His intention is to sink the wounded pirate ship, give it the honor of meeting the depths of the sea it was built to evade.

When Surdrak says "your stuff" he means anything that isnt nailed down to the floor. wait even those things. and the nails.

Also he will take the equipment the pirates were wearing.

"**** YOU!" Avram screams, thrashing at his bonds in protest to Surdrak's statement. "You can't do that to my ship!"

And to think i wanted to spare you after the interrogation..

Surdrak readied an eldritch blast in his hand.

Badger grabbed Surdrak's arm. "PAPERWORK! I mean I don't want to do any of it."

Surdrak backed off.

Ill take that as "no". off i go then. Since when did you care about paperwork?


Surdrak went to first check the bodies of the dead pirates, and if by any chance any were alive he would kill them.

Two shortbows, a longbow, a mace, a crossbow, two longswords, a greataxe, three studded leather armors, a chainmail, a scale mail, and two half-plates. All of these are masterwork.

Artorias whispers to the Badger"Are you sure about that? We don't have any use for him and he seems the vindictive type, if we let him leave it can come and bite us in the ass."

[Athedia]

"Sora, can you wake up the other one? Someone take Avram here below decks or something, so that he doesn't interrupt. Do NOT hurt him, even if he is a pirate he deserves another chance."

Artorias just shrugs and heals himself with his belt.

"THE **** ARE YOU DOING?!" Avram screams when he sees Surdrak about to slit his comrades' throats. "YOU GET AWAY FROM THEM NOW!"

Badger hadn't been paying attention to Surdrak. A mistake, but she thought he was under control. Seeing him about to kill of the pirates she wanted to question she ran at him, knocking him away from the prone bodies. "What did I say? WHAT DID I SAY! You aren't the one who gets to explain to Leif why I let you go on a rampage! I can't be stuck in the records room, I can't!"

Jadeite smirks. "That is your concern?"

He turns to Surdrak with a frown. "That is rather unbecoming, executing the wounded. Just which part of you made that decision?"

[Athedia]

Badger grumbled to herself, low enough that others couldn't hear."If Leif hadn't made it my main concern, he would have had an accident by now." Turning to Avram she let out a small smile. "You seem rather keen that your 'friends' stay alive. Why is that, surely pirates are not the most loyal creatures in existence.
