Elsee had decided to hold off on the chain shirt for now, folding it up and keeping it in her bag for the time being.

"The pipeline was blocked off just as it started tilting up. If everyone can squeeze in there we could dig our way out."

Jadeite looks at everyone else, especially Sora, hoping they'll share his expressions. "And crawl through a waste drainage pipe to claw at the end of it like a common mole?"

Sora laughs, which was rather high pitched, and puts a hand on Jadeite's shoulder.
"Oh, you're so funny Jadeite. Heh heh..."

Surdrak moves to the shelves and benches, tries to see if they budge.

How movable are these?

The shelves and benches are rather heavy, and the thick muddy ground doesn't help. But they can probably be moved around, if people work together.

Jadeite stands back and observes the stronger guild members push and lift the furniture into place.

He tries to help direct where to put the furniture so they won't slip or collapse, but it's difficult as their bottoms are covered with slick mud and mold, and he doesn't know the exact materials they're made of.

Elsee had starded carrying one of the tables' chairs over to the pile when she realized something they all probably should have before they started. with a quiet utterence of "Wait..." she lowered her chair and looked to the prisoners.

"Stupid question. You know how to get out of here? Like, a path that isn't shet? You've had to get those bones 'nd stuff from somewhere."

Badger didn't bother helping, she wasn't going to drag the two prisoners up that rickety structure and wasn't going to let them go either. "Elsee you have rope right? If their isn't a way out, which I suspect it got destroyed, we could use Kheel to fly the rope outta here."

Bella nods towards the broken ladder. "We had a ladder, but it broke in the explosion yesterday."

Badger didn't bother helping, she wasn't going to drag the two prisoners up that rickety structure and wasn't going to let them go either. "Elsee you have rope right? If their isn't a way out, which I suspect it got destroyed, we could use Kheel to fly the rope outta here."

"That would be a better solution," Jadeite says. "Unless you wish to test the stability of your tower."

Sora also didn't help move stuff, but just watched, knowing if they did decide on plan "leaning tower of stupidity", she wouldn't be able to contribute much to it.

Lets not bother blaming each other after this thing inevitably falls. ill go on it first.

Surdrak starts to climb the tower, trying to catch on to the ledge of the hole as soon as possible.

Surdrak starts clambering up the "leaning tower of stupidity," as Sora puts it, pulling himself up by open drawers even as his feet slip against mud and mold.

Surdrak takes his first step into the grand creation, thought by a madman, engineered by a madman, and built by a madman, and the results would not be pretty...

As he grips around the edges of the Leaning Tower of Stupid, for a moment it looks like the warlock is going to make it But halfway up the structure, both of Surdrak's feet slip out from under him. For a moment it looks as if he's going to topple to the ground and take the desk with him (and on top of him), but he manages to catch his fingers around the half-open drawer of the desk and hang on.

Another fateful leap against wood and idiocy, Surdrak does a reenactment of the climbing of the Evverest. not that he knows what an Evverest is though.

Flailing his legs, Surdrak fails to get a grip, and instead just clings desperately to the drawer, which is starting to creak and tilt under his weight...

Forget about the balance part, this tower is unusable.

Surdrak drops off, feeling smarter with every centimeter he gets further from the tower.

Kheel and Elsee should get out with a rope like you said.

Surdrak steps back, to give stage to others.

Badger looked up at the hole then looked at Artorias. "Can you do that spell again? Make yourself big?"

Badger notices Artorias isn't there with the others, however soon after she sees him entering the room.

"Why is there a pile of moldy furniture? Why is Surdark on the floor? On q second thought, don't answer that. "
He then takes out another bottle aand drinks it, this time bracing himself for the sudden enlargement.
"This should do the trick."

With a sudden rush, Artorias doubles in side again. He can now curl his fingers over the ledge they jumped down from before to enter the labs. If he helps stabilize the structure and helps people climb up it, they should have no trouble exiting--and then they can all pull him up.

Sora looks up at the rickety furniture ladder.
"Well, I guess I'm climbing the leaning tower of stupidity. So long as Artorias helps me up. I'm not that good of a climber."

"Thanks Art, mind handing Naga up after me?" She jumped from his shoulders and pulled herself onto the ground outside.

Sora looks up at the rickety furniture ladder.
"Well, I guess I'm climbing the leaning tower of stupidity. So long as Artorias helps me up. I'm not that good of a climber."

"Sure" Artorias picks up Sora by the waist and helps her reach the border of pit.

"I trust you not to let me fall and snap my neck. After all, both Sora and I have been rather helpful here, have we not?"
"Don't tempt me" Artorias deadpans as he is used as a stepping stool by the necromancer.

Badger watched as Artorias grew larger. Giving a nod she backed up a little and then sprinted right at him. A jump and a little clamber latter she stood on his shoulders, the outside visible. "Thanks Art, mind handing Naga up after me?" She jumped from his shoulders and pulled herself onto the ground outside.

"Are you sure Naga won't freak out?" seeing the archer nod Artorias picks the small dog and lifts her/him carefully. He then turns towards the caster siblings.
"Your turn".

Artorias easily lifts Naga to the surface, where he climbs out of the pit and into Badger's arms. Jadeite steps up after Sora, allowing Artorias to lift him up into daylight as well.

Belladonna and Nedivax are both heavier than Jadeite, Nedivax particularly so, but Artorias is able to heft them both up to the surface.

Elsee and Kheel are still in the pit, and Kheel, about the size and weight of a very large pony or a small horse, is too heavy for Artorias to lift. But the wyvern can fly.

wich is weird when you think about it, usually flying things need to be very light just to get off the ground, and have hollow bones to do so.

Reguardless Elsee and Kheel just fly on up.

It's true that birds are often extremely light, but Kheel is not a bird. He is a wyvern, a species of dragon.

Elsee and Kheel easily fly out of the pit and touch down in the afternoon light. Kheel spreads his wings and stretches to the sky with a joyful cry.

Artorias lifts himself up with little difficulty, one would think being twice as large would impair movement, but it doesn't. "Now that we are done with that, I think we should take you to Leif"
