Heya, I'm kind of a newcomer here, but my compatriot TnD has been bugging me to try ABR for some time and recently said now would be the best time to join. Here's my character sheet for my character to appear in FI.

Name: Erenthes Caytos

Race: Half Elf
Age: 347

Powers and Abilities: Erenthes has many talents. In addition to being extremely intelligent and having a near photographic memory, Erenthes is a low level scout, urban ranger and soulknife and (slightly) higher level duskblade and wizard. He fights primarily with his mindblade aided by magic, sometimes falling back to his Rayburn pistol, which has the ability to fire scorching rays. At times when he needs to take to the sky, Erenthes can call his griffon companion, Areiver to his side. Riding his griffon, he prefers to use his lance and swoop down on his quarry.
Although he seems a typical, two things have always seemed off about Erenthes. Although only a half-elf, he seems to have the vitality and longevity of his elven ancestors, that or some other enchantment. Second, spells cast on Erenthes tend to simply fail from time to time, seemingly increasing his strength. It isn’t really known why, perhaps it has something to do with his near agelessness too. (I might do some sort of flashback at some point for this one, either that, or leave you all to make an educated guess.)

Backstory: Erenthes has lived for a long time, though for the most part, he has kept to himself. After the formation of the UNA, he noticed a golden opportunity. Deciding to make himself known and join up as an operative, he now works as a peacekeeper and sentinel, under command of the international organization to hunt rebels.

I'm still a little unfamiliar with ABR in general, but I'll try to read through the past comics and the wiki to try to get an idea of the world. I'm trying to make this guy something of a misguided villain who may or may not change sides if/when he learns of the sovice's true intentions.

There's also more to his backstory, most of it however, is information I haven't thoroughly thought through and don't care to reveal yet.

Just to check, we are starting FI after 3F is brought to a satisfactory close or people decide to continue it?

@Devigod: That's very interesting. Although I do see one tiny mistake: it's not "race" but "species". And it's good to see someone who was born after the Ages of Dragon.

And we are going to start Future Imperfect when Fat Fish Fury is brought to a satisfactory end. Which, I hope, will happen at the right time (not too soon, not too late).

While I considered changing it, I have decided I will not be manipulated by your nitpicks. I wrote race because it is the commonly accepted term, even if it is not scientifically accurate. I'm too stubborn to change it now though... unless all the other apps do say species, in which case I might have to be nonconformist by being a self proclaimed conformist. I can also be conformist by virtue of that nonconformity.

The year is 1541. Nearly all nations of Avbaroy are a member of the United Nations of Avbaroy, which has become increasingly close to being a world government. The Neo-Moon Elf Empire (The Shades' empire) is largely gone and the only opposition to the UNA is a small resistance group led by Igon Minoblendy, comprised mainly of Schizians and Guinoids.

The technology level is greatly unstable, as the traditional "medieval" methods are being replaced by Sovice technology. The standards of living have greatly augmented for UNA member states, but for the resistance, life is hard, as they have to resort to more "unethical" ways of getting food and water, such as raiding and stealing.

Things are going downwards for the resistance. Even if they have the Citadel of Bis Anu and several Schizian aircrafts, they are up against nearly all of the planet. Several members are starting to doubt the resistance's goals and attempt to join the "peace-oriented" United Nations of Avbaroy.

Worst still, Igon Minoblendy seems to have been rendered insane by some sort of Sovice poison. Even with all the effort of the Resistance, no cure has been found and, as such, Igon Minoblendy remains a figurehead.
