I personally maintain the theory that, given the centuries he's had to devote to it, Santa has developed technologies allowing him to perform these seemingly-impossible feats.

Therefore our actions shouldn't be to disprove his existence, but to find him and ask how he manages it. Think how much more work could be done if employees could get to work at the speed of Santa!

All depictions of him are in a flying sleigh pulled by reigndeer. Flying vehicles is not that tough of a spell (at least in the 4th era) and enchanting reindeer to be able to fly, and buffs to superboost their resistance to moving at insane velocity.
Assuming he doesn't do that, it's possible Santa Claus employs an insanely powerful time stop spell. (The dnd one only lasts for a few rounds) All depictions of him indicate he takes his time inside each house.
Not to mention carrying megatons of toys in a single sack, i'm sorry, no single bag of holding can do that. That requires for a bag to be holding an entire plane of existence in there.

Santa has access to uber epic spells that would tear apart any mortal caster by simply casting.

I would believe his Elf minions are high level conjurers, enchanters, and transmuters as well.

It doesnt consider how few christian households even believe in santa, or that he would come on the night between 24th and 25th. That reduces the number + the assumption that there's at least one good child in each household is more than philanthropic thinking.

The rest is simple DnD magic, Time Stop, A Bag of Holding CCCLXVIII, Teleport and fly spells of course.

Also the presents arent delivered by a flying sleigh anymore. Santa uses the commoner railgun principle with invisible levitating elves all over the world. (side note: DnD doesn't have rules for braking the sonic barrier and sonic booms)
