Well, they didn't fire him. Instead they've changed several rules in a manner designed to alienate and anger him in the hopes he gives them a reason to fire him (which they already have more than enough reason to do given that Ohio is an at will state). So I'm gonna make an entry. I need soemthing to occupy my time to prevent the anger from taking over.


Therefore my partial entry is up. I just need to fill in the CR and the fluff.

Well, I know these two avatars who are just itching to decapitate and cut (in this case) someone in half two respectively and have recently been mentioning the fact, so it would seem that a catharitic mental fanatasy senario presents itself most redily...

Technically "bisect" means to divide into two parts. They need not be physically separated or equal.

CR 30 looks okay. Did you make up the abomination subtype or can it be found in a book?

Does Divine Aura also affect ranked deities? It probably shouldn't.

Abomination subtype can be found in the Epic Level Handbook and in the SRD.

Unfortunately I won't be ready in time (epic creatures take a while to make) but maybe I can enter it in a future contest.

Phew. I'm not too sure how she's go up against the stack but I hope she's eligible. Does her CR 30 seem too high or too low?

Although I am slightly proud of my unique Special Quality. Memory manifestation. I'm pretty sure I'll have to re-edit that. I don't know if I clarified it enough.

Ok let's look at your creature first as a level 30 cleric. That's already a CR 30, then add in all of the special attacks and qualities she gets and it should be even higher. Because, honestly, a level 30 cleric is already pretty damn powerful. That said, her HP is pretty low and her physical saves aren't that great. It's a tough one. The Spell Resistance from her artifact should be noted in the special qualities section.

I think if anything, she'd be slightly over a 30 CR, but it's pretty close.

I inserted her Sr into her Special Qualities, and bumped her CR to 32. Should I give her the unholy toughness SQ? It allows her to use her charisma modifier to add to her HD.

In fact, if one can HONESTLY say that they rationally believe their entry to be the best (or something like that... I can't quite explain it), one can vote for one's self.

I just noticed that the DC Lore checks on the Loutae are a bit too low. Knowledge checks start at 10 + Creature's HD and increase by 5. DC should start at 40 not 35, unless you've got a compelling reason why it should be easier, which should be stated somewhere in the lore section.

Organization should be: Solitary or with Hellfire Wyrm.

Her CR shoulld be lower if she appears without the dragon.

Actually Knowledge checks begin at 10 + CR of the monster, then adjust by five every check afterwards.

And her organization is solitary. She doesn't always have the dragon with her at all times. Or else if she did, she would need to constantly cast the spell, it would drain her XP total eventually leaving her without epic level spells. It's more of a back up than anything else when she is outnumbered. Possibly needing a melee buffer or the giving her enough time to flee.

I doubt that her CR would change because of casting a certain spell. For instance Iggwilv the Witch-Queen of Perrenland (CR 30 Wizard 26/Archmage4, Greyhawk villain) can summon a CR 22 aspect of the demon lord Graz'zt, in one standard action I beleive.

Damn it. There goes my idea for a homunculus made from the vitreous fluid of a Beholder Mage's central eye that drains charisma and has anti-magic properties.

Oh well, time to think of another concept.

I've never entered one of these contests before. It may be about time... Of course, coming up with something beautiful and charismatic that isn't cliche might be a bit hard. Well, I'll do some more thinking and hopefully have an entry within a week...

There really isn't that many beautiful creatures in the manuals, unless you count succubi and nymphs, and I'm sure you can come up with something at least a little different.

Well, I submitted a creature. At first I planned to make an orb that would enchant people by showing them beautiful scenes inside of it, but then I figured that there might be trouble with the fact it would be made from the central eye of an eye tyrant. Still almost made it, but then I came up with the idea for a creature that was shiny. Any not just somewhat shiny, but really shiny. As in so shiny that you cant resist picking it up and taking it with you wherever you go. And the idea seemed so awesome I made the shiny.

Anyways, I'm not quite sure how well a really shiny object falls under beauty, but oh well. That said I'm not sure what to give it for CR. While it has some potentially powerful abilities, it can't actually attack itself (well, unless you count the feed ability, which could easily be fatal with a malevolent shiny that has a good number of shininess points). So, any suggestions are welcome (also I'm not sure if I missed anything).

I think that the loss of HD and Cha from reduced Shininess should be delayed long enough that it is very unlikely to happen in combat. For parity gaining HD/Cha should also be on a time lag, but the important point is to not be delaying combat with having to recalculate half the things stats every round if it is going all out because it is a dire situation. BBEG battles don't need the distractions.
