Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
The call sounds. The hero rides.
So, just out of interest, what does everyone think of this so far?

They aren't?
Anyway, Piece 55:

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
Isn't "flank them on both sides" a bit redundant?

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
Included because there are two armies coming in from opposite directions, so I wanted to make it clear that both armies were getting flanked and not just one. I know it would normally be tautology though (my personal favourite being "Torpenhow Hill").

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
I like the comic, its different and amusing.
However the whole !!!111!!one!1! thing was old before the comic even started and you use it in half your comics and in some cases several times in one... it just gets old.

'Tis but the black speech of Gerd. Who knows, if someone shuts his trap the world could be saved from "leetian" forever! :P

A late update since the forums were down, but it's only just not yesterday in the Pacific or somewhere.
Plus the third Midget on a Horse Extra!

Once again, for me the "Saga" spoiler on the first page is empty (or rather, it is full of smaller spoilers that are empty. Please fix?

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
He landed on a sword?
But...but ultimate archer jumped off donkey of Grywrdnedythfdhv by himself! He should know where he land!
...
Or maybe he is the kind of hero who do things before he think about it...yeah thats it, who else could call himself "Ultimate power archer"

A simple injury can have such adverse effects:
Meanwhile in Irgas:
That's some pretty good insight of yours -skimmer-, which has pretty much just been confimed :D
Person1123, that's the images inside the spoilers not loading on your computer, which I have had happen to me in other threads. There's nothing I can really do to help you, you'll just have to read through the thread if they load in normal posts.Last edited by Fifty-Eyed Fred; 2009-03-14 at 06:22 PM.

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
Wow, with the forums down and stuff, not only is this a double update, with the extras you get 4 new pieces. Lucky you.
Anyway, Pieces 65 and 66:
and Extra Pieces 7 and 8:
It's strange... since I've been moved to the Fan Comics forum my readership has really dwindled. I should advertise more :P

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
Another double update since I've been a busy person:
Pieces 69 and 70:
Extra Pieces 11 and 12:
The end is coming soon. I won't post anything beyond the first saga here for now, unless there is a real call for it.

Piece 71!
Very well, I will let you, the fans, decide:
Shall I continue updating this thread? If so, can you guys help me out? What are some good ways to advertise on these forums, to get more members reading?

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
Sure, you just need banners, and then more banners. Then you need people to use them. I'll free up some space in my sig later for one.

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
Best and most used way how to attract new readers is starting some contest with awards, cameos and such.....well, I can help you with drawing awards, but I never did that before and unfortunately I can draw things only in oots style (with few exeptions where I tried mimic other art styles)
I can also offer adding your banner in my signature and/or make you new avatar...If you know any other way how I could help, just tell me

Re: Midget on a Horse - the epic saga
And so, at 73 pieces, the first saga comes to its conclusion.
However, do not lose hope, for the Second Saga begins this time next week! I'll probably finish The Adventures of Pepin Hurdy-Gurdy Master, technically a part of the First Saga that I started too late, in the interim.
So, thoughts? Speculation? What did you think of the First Saga? You guys have a week until the next one.
Thank you to all of my readers here; I hope you'll love the Second Saga.
