The shooting at the Luigis was a wake up call for the Citizens. The Mafia will take over the town if no one does something.
Soon the police was informed. One suspect, living in downtown. He was seen this night with a violin case, but the neighbours never heard him play.
The police was fast and efficient. They found the suspect. They found the violin case. And they found a Tommy Gun and 1000 pieces ammunition.
Thanks to observant neighbours another member of the Chicago Mafia gang could be arrested.

Summary: Aemoh was arrested, he was a member of the Chicago Mafia gang.

Night begins and will end in 24 hours.

James smiles a little to himself. He can tell she's nervous. He goes into the bathroom. A couple minutes later he comes out, his pants back on. He sniffs the air a little. Is that eggs I smell?

Celeste nods, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "Yep. Fresh from a farm in Joliet." She grabs two plates and serves some eggs onto each. She hands James his plate and picks at her own. She forces her mind to wander. I'm gonna hafta go get a new scarf to replace the one that guy kept... Finally, she can't avoid it any longer. "Look, I don't expect nothin' from ya, alright? You don't hafta be nice if ya see me out somewhere. I know what I am and what it might mean if people saw us bein' all friendly-like. So...I get it."

Night 10 Ends

Alarra was walking down the street, minding her own business whenever she sees a small blonde girl wander into a dark alley.

Feeling a sense of civic duty, she follows the child hoping to stop her from getting lost or kidnapped or something nasty.

Rounding the corner, the brave lass only sees an empty alley. Taking a few steps in only confirms the emptiness. She feels something fly by her ear and she spins, expecting the worst. Another something hits her in the nose and falls to the ground. She looks down and sees a marshmellow. Another one bounces off her head and she looks up at the entrance. Two women who could be Alarra's twins block the entrance. One holds a bag of marshmellows and the other is dressed as a southern belle, complete with fan, but also holding a deck of cards.

Who..who are you? sputtered out Alarra.

We're the people you've RP'ed in the past.
Yeah, Sugah. Remember the good old days of Induravick and being a baning belle.
The small child steps out from the shadows. And N'aliens!

But why are you here now? Alarra sputters.

Well, because you haven't been RPing. You've been phoning in this game, or too busy with analysis and allegiances or something. Southern Belle Alarra pulls out a gun. So we've come to send you a reminder.
Wait..I thought we were gonna throw mellows at her, until she made a character.

I woke to a grey smoggy sky, a splitting headache, and the reality of not being the mayor. With the election lost, I obviously hadn't it handled it very well, sitting alone in a corner of the bar downing shot after shot of the cheapest whiskey in town.
The last few days seemed more of a dream than anything else. Nightmares involving strange colors and unspeakable horrors. I didn't have a clue what was going on any more, but I resolved to try and find out.
I left my alleyway to consider being human again.

Around her neck is wrapped a gossamer scarf that matches. She smiles sheepishly, apologetically. "I feel bad for rushin' you out, darlin', but I have errands and stuff to do this mornin'. I'm gonna check out that restaurant that just opened - the one run by...what's his name?" She thinks a moment. "Lord Rod. That's it." She bends to slip her heels onto her feet. "Maybe I'll see ya around. That'd be nice."

Every time the forums go down, whatever phase we're in get's extended for a like amount.

You're right. I'm sorry, I posted a bit hastily yesterday and didn't quite think it through.

Here's what i think:
There has been no announcement of any side being wiped out. There are 8 players left so there must be either 2 or 3 mafias left (I think, I'm not sure if both sides count for determining endgame). There have been 7 northside deaths and 6 capones deaths, so assuming they both started with the same number of members, that means that there are at least 2 capones (alpha + devil) and one northsider.

Yesterday both ThePhantom and Sweetlikelemons pointed at aemoh, a capone. Due to the low number of members they have left I doubt they would point at one of their own so I think it's pretty safe to assume neither of them is capone. Specially since their points made the difference between me and aemoh. It's still possible that they are, though it's unlikely.

If I were mafia, the person I would be going after would be me. A lot of people have been suspicious about me for a while, so it would be easy to make them point at me. I'm sure that that is what they're doing so I'll look at those pointing at me.

Out of those 4 I'm most suspicious of Ranna because of this comment:

It doesn't make sense. Before this point she hadn't pointed at me since day 2 and I'm sure I did the restaurant thing well until day 4 or 5. I'm also pretty sure I got more points at me after I stopped doing the restaurant thing.
Up until that point, none of her points had any justification behind them and suddenly she comes up with this pseudo-evidence on the second point of a bandwagon. Pushing a bandwagon with fake evidence looks like wolfish behavior to me so I'm going to point at Ranna today

Agent Fairchilde gathers a few loyal local police... and moves forward with an arrest warrant for LordRod.

The sedans pull up to the resturant, where LordRod is preparing a meal.

"Hello Agent Fairchilde! I have this linguini for you!"

"No, no, I can't accept free gifts."

"Hey, boss can we have some? It's been a really long day."

One of the police officers begin to have the pasta with special garlic sauce.

"Sure, I suppose. Now, LordRod I have to take you in for questioning...

"Acck! CHOKE! AAArrgh.... gasp... gasp gasp... ahhh"

"Frank! You killed Frank you monster!"

"Yes, yes, I poisoned him and I would've..."

Alright then...Liriel. Pat chuckles as he leaves the pause just long enough for her to expect him to call her it again, and collects the steaks to bring them inside, pulling out a chair for her with a smile. I've been thinking. If you'd like me to...stay, permamently, I will.

Mind you, my scries were completely bloody useless. I didn't scry a single Capone apart from Aemoh all game! All I ever got were citizens!

I'm so gutted. At one point Capone were down 4 players and we were untouched!

Mind you, there were a few dumb posts by our guys, trying to protect each other. An endless string of them, Whitehelm protecting Trixie and then I think Darkcomet tried to protect Whitehelm, and then it appears that Lord Rod tried to protect Darkcomet, and so on.

If I ever get to be seer again I refuse to choose the scry targets. I'm sooo bad at it

And it was not your scries that were useless, but that weird change of tactics midgame that doubled our search time for Capones. If I were still alive at that point I'd vetoed it with conviction.
